Didn’t work at all. Bought as a gift for a family member out of state and it is useless. I would have returned it if it wasn’t such a hassle. Do not recommend.

The gameplay of this game is phenomenal. There are so many cheat codes that add to the fun like flying cars, boats, mega punch etc. The storyline will leave you hooked. The RPG elements made me love this game. The graphics aren’t the best but it is the ps2 we’re talking about and it’s from 2004 so no complaints. Gameplay is really smooth. I’d have to say the voice acting won me over. I would recommend getting this game used in very good condition […]. Definitely worth the money for sure if you played every GTA but this one like me. Here are my ratings below

    Graphics: 7.5/10
    Voice Acting: 9.9/10
    Gameplay: 10/10
    Storyline: 10/10
    Customization: 11/10 (not a typo)

    Overall score: 9.7/10

I bought this game new off Amazon 2 years ago believing it to be the original as purported by the original game cover shown. It was however the aforementioned GHC version which doesn’t support my previous memory card game file and had the instructions manual removed (which I had to buy from another site retailer). Still a great playable game experience but remember a new original PS2 GTA San Andreas game retails between $200-1,000 not under $30 as shown here!

El GTA que en su momento fue un boom por toda la libertad que le daba al jigador, acompaรฑado de una historia en las que podรญamos empatizar. Nada mejor que jugarlo en la plataforma oroginal de salida.

Received the game in excellent condition, came in what felt like the original shrink wrap and felt like the first time I bought San Andreas in 2004. The disc was in amazing condition for being a renewed product, but could have included the original manual, but the poster made up for it, so it was okay. Would buy from Amazon Renewed again. Definitely a reason to stay away from DKOldies.

One of my all time best PS2 games and the ultimate GTA game. One of the best features of the game is the character itself. You can make him muscular, fat, skinny, wear different clothes, increase stamina, luck and so on. Plus, increase weapon skills to have one weapon in each hand is a welcome addition. Plus, they have over 270 vehicles including train, monster truck, jet (yes! I love jets!) and even a BMX bike. Targeting is more smooth and much easier than the previous ones. You can target enemies or do a first person targeting too. The story in here is lengthy but in a great way. Reminds me of Boyz in The Hood but playing it. Also, the soundtracks are good but not excellent. It seems they didn’t concentrate on that and it’s sad. If they made the style like 80s Vice City with variety….it will be epic but nope. Mostly on rap and hip-hop and they even have a country station. Another note….the PS2 isn’t getting younger (which is ancient right now) but they managed to have little extra power to load this game and also no pause screens to get to other cities. It gets annoying on GTA III and Vice City. Graphics are fine from the PS2 but can be awkard at times. Despite a couple setbacks, GTA: San Andreas is an epic game no one should miss. Also one more note, I love it the character can climb and even date ladies too. PURE EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still the best GTA out there…People forget how many vehicles you can drive in this game and how big the map is compared to the new GTA IV that came out. You can work out buy tons of property fly vast amount of planes/aircraft, workout to get in shape or eat fatty foods to get fat. The story line is one of the funniest with Vice City behind it in my opinion. The graphics still are not that bad. The only thing that makes GTA IV better is they improved the dating and the animations like flying out of your windshield if you hit something head on and of course graphics but guess what? your still in Liberty City which isnt as fun as it was back with GTA III. After playing the newest GTA IV i was very disappointed and I ended right back here playing SAN ANDREAS because its just a better game.
