Something wrong with Steam (manages downloaded games). Downloaded game, check. Initial game launch and test play from download launch game prompt, check. NOTHING after that. Game shows in Steam, click then no game. I tried way too many ‘fixes’ that did nothing. We have EA download games that use a similar downloaded game mgr, Origin, which runs flawlessly on my newer pc (Win10). In the end it’s a waste of money, even if worse the time to try to fix, and in the end my guests still couldn’t play for holidays. Will not buy any further download games that use Steam, just garbage.

I absolutely LOVED this game for ps2 and xbox… but when I got it for pc it was terrible. There are soooo many things to tweak control wise. The graphics suck on pc and there are a LOT of glitches. I do not recomend this game(for PC).

Grand theft auto has always been something very close to my heart. The open world attitude as well as the pinpoint AI really make the world come to life. San Andreas is no exception. You control Carl Johnson or C.J as his friends call him. You’re just coming back home to go to your mom’s funeral. However, while investigating the death, you find that your mom was killed by a rival gang member. You are tasked with rebuilding the gang to its former glory, as well as keeping up with eating, working out, clothing, and romantic interests.
San Andreas is truly a pinnacle of the Grand theft auto series and is definitely worth the buy.
Plus this copy activates on steam and you can’t go wrong with that.

It’s fun, but when Rockstar introduce some of the “barbie doll” features like accessorizing the main character, I rolled my eyes as I thought it was too tedious (mandatory for some parts of the game); but to each his own.

This game still holds up after all these years. The graphics and storyline still work fine as long as you don’t go in with crazy expectations. I still consider GTA SA to be the best GTA game made to date. My only complaint would be the control setup for physical controllers. The mouse and keyboard setup works fine most of the time, but I 100% prefer my PS3 controller when it comes to driving vehicles. When you try to setup a PS3 or Xbox controller with this game, it really does not work. The setup is counter intuitive, and its just a all around headache.

This game is pretty fun like the other GTA games, the rating is for the download itself because I’ve been having issues with it.

This is by far my favorite entry in the Grand Theft Auto series. I originally got it for Xbox, then Xbox 360, but the PC version has got the best graphics. Yes, GTA IV definitely has better graphics, but as far as gameplay, San Andreas takes the cake. ALL of it. The ’90s music, the gangster-hood atmosphere, the hilarious NPC dialogue, the missions, and so many more things make this one of the best PS2 classics as well as just one of the best video games of all time. Even after you beat the storyline missions, which are very entertaining and enthralling if I might add, there is just SO much more to explore and fun to be had. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who has played GTA before, and to people who are new to the series. Happy Gaming, Ladies and Gents! 🙂
