I replaced the transfer case fluid in my Range Rover L405 and the notching and slipping when turning went away.

This was the 4th fluid I tried on my new to me 99 z3. I followed the recommendations of the forums and I thought I had messed up by changing the transmission fluid until I tried this one. Most of the forums don’t recommend this fluid but, it is working great for my z3.

Much cheaper than buying in store

Used on an 03 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Transmission is the NV3550. It improved shifting greatly, and got rid of the little grind from 2nd into 3rd. Good stuff.

The 2-pack of RP Synchromax worked really well for my Z4 3.0i with the 6-speed manual transmission. My car has 65k miles on it, and despite it being “lifetime” fluid, it seems like the second gear synchro isn’t in the greatest shape. So, I decided to try some new fluid and see if it helped. Initially, I didn’t notice much difference. I certainly didn’t notice anything getting worse, but after putting on 50 miles or so, I realize that the shifting is much smoother in all gears. Would highly recommend this fluid! Just remember to get new drain and fill plugs (which now have built-in rubber sealing o-rings). AND MAKE SURE YOU TRY LOOSENING THE FILL PLUG FIRST – No point in draining all the fluid if for whatever reason you can’t get the fill plug off. My transmission plugs required an 8 mm male hex socket. I recommend purchasing a stubby/short hex socket to make sure you have enough clearance for the fill plug. Torque for these plugs is 26 ft-lbs. Capacity is at least 1.5L, so the 2-pack is perfect.

So far this transmission fluid works great in my S2000. When it’s warmed up. No unusual noises.
When it’s cold the transmission is extra “notchy” but when it’s warmed up its a good balance between notchiness and smoothness.
Personal preference, but I like the feel of the OEM fluid better.

It equals in effectiveness to more expensive brands.
