Great paint, and great company to deal with!

I used this for a few nightstands / side tables, and for a padlock. It worked on multiple materials, and I had no need for primer. It took to everything with great coverage. Goes on blue-ish, but dries a beautiful, uniform, deeeeeeeep black. 🖤✅
Stir well!!

I’ve used this paint for everything! I’ve painted my exterior shutters on my home with it. They have held up great. They previously were white and I painted them black. I’ve started painting my interior doors with it too. This is the only brand of paint I’ll use. I love the coverage, and great value for the money.

This stuff is good, provided one coat complete coverage and dried in a timely fashion.

Great paint to apply and gives a fantastic finish, can’t understand why it is not more generally available in the UK.

The bucket was MUCH smaller than I predicted, not very much for an entire room. Just baseboards perhaps. But paint covers a lot and is not thin.

This is awesome paint. It is most commonly sold in a spray can. In the past I have purchased it in the can. When I went shopping I could not find it any where nor did any one know what I was talking about. It is very easy to work with. The rich smooth texture covers well and self levels like an oil base paint. The antique metal chairs will look wonderful for a long time.
ShoMeSt8 –

Got Kona Brown for the front door. The can of paint was very small and 8oz as stated. When I opened the box I was unsure if it will be enough to paint the exterior of my front door. However, the paint spread so smoothly like butter and it thinned out without needing a double coat. The door was pretty weathered. Since it was a super hot day, the paint dried within minutes. I did not sand the door since it was already rough and had no paint on it but I wiped it with a damp paper towel to remove any dust.
I was done painting in less than 30 minutes although I took my time. It was a pleasure to use this paint and did not drip or cause inconveniences. Very highly recommend.

I love this product. It provides a good, even coating with high adhesion.

I didn’t realize when I ordered that it was an oil based paint. It wasn’t an issue for my project, but for some I’m sure it could cause problems. Just keep that in mind, I’m assuming it’s the same for the silver and bronze ones as well.
Pros: Good price for the amount. Easy to use even for an oil based paint, if you stir it enough it almost becomes acrylic consistency. Does have a nice sheen in the light and actually looks like gold.
Cons: Very runny, will need multiple coats to get it to look gold. It was almost sheer with the first coat and it scared me. Takes a while to dry even without the multiple coats. I was only doing detailing but if you have a large area you’ll probably need multiple cans.

Whew. I was really scared when I got this in and it felt like pure liquid inside the can. I had no idea that it was oil-based, probably because I didn’t read so did a sample swatch with a paintbrush just to see how it would cover and ended up just having to go full tilt since I didn’t have any paint thinner on hand to clean the brush. I managed to paint an entire thing with a small little brush that’s meant for chalk paint, And I’m pretty sure that it’s really streaky.
It does drip since it’s so thin so you need to apply very sparingly, and plan to do a few coats. There’s no getting around it. I painted a very dark cherry wood bedframe, and since I was only doing a patch, I didn’t sand or prep at all. But this stuff bonded like a champ. I’m really impressed with the coverage and bonding of this paint and will definitely buy it again for future projects.
I feel like spraying this paint would be the best option since it’s so thin and it would be perfect for that, however, it worked just fine with the brush. So far, I have two coats on and plan to get an actual based brush to do the third. I think if I had the brush all along, I have only had to do two coats.
Dries to the touch within an hour But I decided to wait longer for the second coat after the first few swipes because it seemed like it was moving the paint around, so it clearly wasn’t cured yet. Patience is a virtue with this paint.

I’m an old guy and have been using Rust-Oleum products for as long as I can remember. This is the most unsatisfactory experience I’ve ever had with their product.
The project is a round metal table, approx. 4′ diameter, with (4) curved 1″ diameter legs. One large flat surface and a fair amount of small round surface. The temperature of the surfaces was well within the specifications. It was all sanded and spot primed with the specified primer.
I’m not a professional painter, but I’ve painted a lot of different things and watched and learned from painters on my jobs as a working general contractor for 50 years.
First, when ordering, be sure you’re getting the sheen you want. I made the mistake of thinking, since the first product to come up was satin, that I was ordering satin sheen. Some colors are only offered in Gloss and some only in satin. I got gloss and it made the application more difficult – that’s on me.
The product didn’t cover well at all. With the most gentle brush strokes from my softest brushes, it left unpainted bristle lines and REALLY didn’t level out like some paint does.
Unhappy with the bad looking finish, I bought two new professional grade brushes, labeled “Soft” and felt them to be sure they were very soft. I wet sanded the surface to flatten the ridges reasonably well and painted it again. I got a significantly better result, but still not something I would ever accept and provide to a customer. Even with the very soft brushes, I constantly had to deal with bristle lines and going back probably 2 minutes later to level a thicker spot, I got a pull mark that is very pronounced.
I THINK this product MIGHT produce a reasonable result if applied with a micro fiber roller (which I didn’t do because the directions said not to roll it) or sprayed with the right equipment. I MIGHT try the roller to use the rest of this can up on a project that I don’t need to turn out well.
I’ve had very good results with the spray can Painter’s Touch product, but I won’t ever touch this stuff again. I’m very disappointed in a longtime trusted brand.
