I liked everything about the sound except for a certain “clonkish” sound that exp. drummers will get immediately. I bought this on a whim, as I know thwese are re-worked from other Sabians, so it’s no surprise this didn’t match an “Ozoned” 10″ AAX splash on attack & decay. I did the “Ozoning” job myself, wjth my drill press & a 1″ high-quality bi-metal hole saw to make 6 evenly-spaced holes exactly 2.25″ from the exact center of the cymbal. I advanced VERY SLOW while dripping cutting oil on the saw edge!!! Then I took some Dremel sanding barrels to smooth the edges of the holes.. I LIKE doing that kind of thing so, OMG the result was amazing! Fast, percussive attack and really quick decay; just what U want in a splash. YMMV: DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS AT HOME, LOL…

I bought this cymbal a while back and I love it!!! I was hoping for a small splash cymbal, and this was just what I needed. The sound of the cymbal was very bright and a nice variety for my cymbal set up. It has a very nice, small cymbal, which was very convenient to place on the set. I would definitely recommend this to any drummer!

The reason I am not complaining about this is because I paid for something decent quality and I got it. Some people complain that its not a higher quality, but at the same time, its cheaper than most splashes on the market! I suggest this symbol if you’re looking for something to just slam when it comes to a good song. Nothing more Nothing less. Good product. 👍

I don’t really like Sabians, but the SBR line is super affordable. This is just a little too dark sounding for me. You can still play good blink-182 and Primus covers with this, though.

This is a great splash to add to your kit. No matter what other cymbals you have it just sounds like a 200$ meinl byzance splash you should get this cymbal.

Just not great sounding at all IMHO. I know there are certain uses for cerain sound, but I suggest getting a slightly better brand/model.

I’m here recently getting the drumming fever/obsession that I use to, after a 14yr period of downtime. Had to sell my set ect ect. Ne way, I’m currently making a cheapo no name set, sound good. Better it sounds the more I’ll wanna play and practice. This splash was definitely more than what I expected given the price. Fantastic accent and many different voice variations can be achieved depending on how creative u can get. Has a small amount higher pitch ringing after splashing but if your jammin out, you never hear it. Or if like me and the fact that it’s doing it will drive u crazy wether u can hear it or not. FELT TAPE. Very small square on underside, took out any unwanted distortion and ringing without compromising tone quality, resonance, or playability. One of my favorite accents, and at 20 bucks. Fah-get-ah-bout it! Best bang for buck I’ve ever purchased for drums
