As with any new storage device, i perform a format, but first I normallly do a scan and view of any preinstalled software on it. When i connected this to an external enclosure to perform the tasks, i noticed there is only 83Gb free of 118Gb, I explored the drive to notice there has already been an OS installed. the full complement of ” Windows, Program Files, Users, etc…” folders on the drive… seem I have received a used drive…

El rendimiento del disco es muy bueno, se supone que es mas lento que el anterior pero no lo distingo en el uso diario, ademas lo adquiri muy barato (750) pero…
Compre este disco tras morir un SSD subitamente y es muy raro ya que no tenia ni 2 años de uso. Al instalarlo todo muy bien, pero comence a notar que cuando la laptop tardaba mucho tiempo encendida se colgaba algunas veces al intentar suspender/hibernar/apagar, y con la sorpresa de que en esas veces al querer volver a usar la laptop ya no tenia bateria. Intente formatear y reinstalar, pero sin solucion, lo unico que he hecho es aprender a distinguir cuando se cuelga ya que al intentar hibernar/apagar/suspender si tarda mas de 30 segundos y no se ha apagado no lo va a hacer, y tengo qur forzarlo con el boton. Espero que algun dia misteriosamente se solucione el problema…

We needed these for our mini pcs we have dotted around the office and after 4-6 months of use, they perform well and do the job. Unfortunately I don’t have any read/write speeds at hand. But for a mini pc that gets used now and then, these do the job.
For me, if they last I’m happy and throughout 6 mini pcs, I’ve had no issues with any.

Awesome Hard Drive at an Awesome price. All we’ve installed are working flawlessly so far. You can’t really go wrong with SSD’s for the performance, just make sure you have good backups, because unlike the old HDD’s, when you have a failure, it can be very permanent with no chance to recover anything from the drive.

L’unità che mi è stata pervenuta era difettosa, andava in massima scrittura dopo il boot, ma anche le poche volte che funzionava, non era molto veloce, credo che allo stesso presso per dieci euro in più convenga prendere il kingston.

Bought it to upgrade my HP Pavilion X2 which came with only 64GB. Wow! What a difference. This is significantly faster than the original and now I have room to actually store files on my hard dive. Installation was easy. I found instructions on HP’s web site for opening the case. Then it was just one screw to remove the old drive and plug this one in.
