I wanted to hang my bike but didn’t want to use a ton of space on my wall. When I saw this product I knew it was perfect for me. Just find a stud, screw it into the stud, and hang your bike as shown in the illustrations. Nice product and easy recommend.

This Schwinn bike hook was easy to install and seems quite effective. It has a bit of a stylish look, which is nice. Installation was quick and easy, with only two holes needed. I was able to find a stud, and it is nicely secure. They also include drywall anchors, in case you don’t have a stud available (though I’d be a bit concerned about the amount of weight against only two anchors). It’s easy to pop your bike up onto the rack, and it holds secure. I’ve got an older road bike, and it fits easily. This would seem to accommodate quite a variety of bikes, even up to those with relatively wide tires. It’s been a great addition to my garage, and helped control the chaos in a place where overhead mounts weren’t practical.

Pro: Mounting screws gauge are sufficiently large enough to mount through both drywall and stud. I did not mount with the provided drywall wall anchors so I cannot speak to their ability to hold heavy bikes but the stud mounted option held the combine weight of my kids at over 80lbs. The rubberized end of the hook adds extra grip to the hanging bike and keeps scratches off of our black aluminum wheels.
Cons: While this mount will handle even some of the fatter sand/snow tires width, larger/thinner tires may have a slight problem with the shallow loop support. It should certainly be adjusted to not dig into the more fragile street/racing tires which could potentially damage the tire/wheel.
Overall, this is a great option for easy on/off bike storage.

This works reasonably well. However, because of the design it’s sort of hard to use a level to make it go straight up because of the curved guard rods. So I guess you should measure and level the holes first. Also, don’t put it too close to the ceiling as the bike wheel needs room. Also, the bracket protects the wall from getting dirty by the upper wheel but not the lower wheel.
I didn’t use the included screws or wall anchors. Stud only with a quality 2 inch wood screw.
