As a child this would have kept me from sleeping, not out of fear, but facination. Frightening but so facinating. I think it remarkable how we continue to find out more and more about this period in Earths history. We see a slick fast paced description tha takes our breath away. However years of painstaking meticulous research are required to give us this perspective and an insight into our planets past.

I’m a fan of dinosaur movies, particularly the “Walking with Dinosaurs” series by BBC. This one did catch my eye, and I do have to say it’s one of the few films that I would put in the same league as “Walking with Dinosaurs”
The main attractions are of course the creatures themselves. They’re very well portrayed and spectacularly animated, and you do get to see a lot of them. There are other parts of the film too such as: actors portraying paleontologists, visiting dig sites, unearthing bones etc. The film jumps between various story lines, but it all works together to make a nice coherent story that develops and progresses throughout the film. My 5 year old daughter loves it, and there’s a lot in there for parents too.
If you like dinosaur documentaries, this is one I would definitely recommend. Especially on Blue-Ray, you really do marvel at these ancient creatures

I loved how this film brought these prehistoric creatures to life. Itโs amazing how realistic it looks, like a nature show shot in the wild. The historic context of where some of the fossils were found was also remarkable (ie the inland sea finds in Kansas). I also enjoyed the interactive special feature where you could read more about each creature organized by time and geographic location. The quality of the Blu-ray was excellent.

Es mi primera compra de una pelรฌcula 3D bluray, la recomiendo especialmente para los niรฑos que les atraen los dinosaurios pues ilustra de una manera muy agradable la historia de los dinosaurio a partir de los hallazgos cientรฌficos. i would recommend this 3d as i enjoy watching it as there is a lot of coming out of screen in it. i have watched about 3 times already and will watch it more. i don’t agree with their commentary but do not get my 3ds for what they say. l buy them for the coming out of screen parts.

This movie was really cool. The 3D looked great, especially for being at home using the little glasses that came with the DVD. I love it! There are tips on how to make the 3D effect look its best included inside the DVD case, which I thought was helpful. It arrived on time, I would recommend

OK, it’s an anaglyph movie, so you wear the red/blue glasses. I originally got this for the family (with no 3D TV) but watched it first (in a nice dark room) to see what it was like. WOW! First the story was excellent. The graphics were great and some of the 3D on this was better than what I’ve bought on 3D TV movies (Jurassic Park comes to mind – for one). Seriously, I was really impressed. I showed several of my friends and then bought a copy for me and my father. Yes, I thought it was that good and I’m proud to give National Geographic 5 full stars. In my humble opinion this was an excellent movie and everyone I’ve showed it to has thought so as well. Great 3D no special equipment required.
