As someone who’s strung well over a few thousand sticks in my life I can hands down say this is the absolute best bang for your buck. Like most things in this sport inflation is unreal, this mesh kit is probably the best thing on the market. I’m not ok with spending $40-50 every time I wanna string sticks this has been a great investment. 1000% recommend
Making my great escape –
My 14yr old son watched a few YouTubes videos on stringing his stick, stretching out the mesh, and went to town. The stick turned out great and all of his coaches were impressed. I’m purchasing a second one to restring another head. Only complaint is that all black is hard to see when learning. I recommend a different colored string.

Definitely not up to par with other meshes. Didn’t see that it doesn’t come with a shooting nylon (that one’s on me). The mesh is more of a soft mesh rather than a semi-soft. Doesn’t hold its pocket shape well. Not bad for the money, but not as good as other options.

Great pocket. Easy to string.

No doubt there are string kits out there that are higher quality, but for $17 this can’t be beat. My son plays Lacrosse and I bought a used stick so I could play catch with him but the sidewall strings on the used stick gave out and needed to be replaced. I needed to re-string the head without bringing my total spend up to $50 (the cost of an entry-level new stick). I spent $20 on the stick used, then $17 on this kit and the stick is like new now.
Things to note –
This comes with 3 shooting laces/strings, 4 sidewall strings, and one mesh.
**There is a distinct top and bottom of the mesh** – I didn’t know this at first and was having a VERY difficult time with stringing as it wasn’t quite wide enough.
There are no instructions, so if you don’t know how to string the head you’ll need YouTube to help. There are tons of videos but I liked the Powell Pocket tutorial the best. *Note* that I didn’t have a Powell stick (mine’s a warrior) and mine was old so didn’t have enough holes in the head to follow the tutorial. I noticed that all the videos were for newer-style heads that have more holes, so I drilled out more holes in my head to be able to follow along with the tutorials. That made the process significantly easier FWIW
The string and mesh are both black which makes it tough to see your knots. This likely isn’t a big deal for someone who does this often but for me, it made it more challenging.
All in all, I’d buy this again provided it doesn’t give out within a few months.

So I’ve been playing lacrosse for over 12 years now and I’ve played at the collegiate and semi-pro level and I can confidently say that this mesh is not great. I’ve experimented with almost every mesh on the market and this really does not come close to anything else that is actively being sold. When it comes with other performance mesh whether sold from STX, ECD, or Stringking you can actually feel the quality of the mesh and see its durability simply from stretching the mesh to prep it for stringing. You can actually stretch the mesh on this and rip it if you like, and the shape does not hold either. After stringing it into a pocket I can say its really subpar and this feels like regular old soft Jimalax mesh. Yes you can string this into a pocket and it’ll work but it won’t improve your play like other performance meshes. Really disappointed and if anyone is reading this, it’s better to spend your money elsewhere.

Great product, strung up nice

Got this to have as a backup in case my son needed new mesh during a game. We had to quickly put it on last week during halftime when his got ripped. I have to say, it is really nice quality! Easy to install and after a short break in period, it works great. Really nice quality!
