It’s worthy for it’s high performance !
I modified my review after using more than 10000 km and continuing. It’s still giving wonderful performance, harshly pick up, excellent milage, no burn out.๐ฅฐ
But will not be able to fill it again due to it’s price rise more than 300% ๐ญ

I drive modified turbo cars – a 2002 subaru impreza wrx upgraded to 270whp and a 2001 audi s4 upgraded to 400whp. I’ve run the 15w-40 Rotella T dino oil in my subaru for a couple years now – I was originally running royal purple but noticed that the car was burning it at a rate of at least a quart every thousand miles or so. Now turbo cars do burn a bit more oil than your average N/A car but this was excessive. Once I switched to the rotella, the consumption slowed to a more normal rate. When I bought my audi, I wanted to spare no expense in taking the best care of my engine since it was under more stress than a stock engine so I went for the T6 immediately. I’ve experienced very little oil consumption and I am confident this oil will adequately protect the engine. If you browse around the subaru forums you will see that there is a general consensus that subarus love rotella oil. Many of the unwashed masses like to run mobil 1 in their cars and end up frequently blowing engines (usually spun rod bearings). The problem with mobil 1 is that it shears down to a lower weight very quickly and fails to adequately protect the moving parts in the engine. This has been demonstrated time and time again by used oil analysis. Diesel guys that tow huge loads and have engines pushing out south of 1000 ft-lbs of torque trust their engines to this oil, so if that’s not a good metric then I don’t know what is. Do yourself a favor – if you drive a vehicle with a high-output engine, run this oil so it stays in one piece.

Used this oil from reviews instead of the Polaris oil, many rides so far and no issues

I’ve been waiting for this moment to give my reviews, infact i gamble into purchasing this Shell Rotlla T6 engine oil for my bike Yamaha YZF R1 2001 model,i was worried about clutch slip wat will happen after which even though there positive reviews from others there is still some hesitation in me hence i procced to do the oil change today, went for ride for about 50km around the expressways in my homeland Singapore,To my surprise the clutch doesn’t slip the engine was smooth, gear shifting was even smoother,This engine oil clearly proved that not only its work on diesel vehicles, works on superbikes too,And i conclude in my statement that n respect others whom had reviews that its safe to use this Shell Rotella T6 5w40 clearly the choice for me n also look forward to purchase it for my next oil change.Thumb up!!!!!

It has zinc, which is the most important to protect all moving motor parts from wear

Used this with:
2003 SV650
2013 GSXR-1000
2005 GSXR
2007 CBR 1000
2007 Yamaha R1
2013 Honda CTX 1300
All bikes ridden at track except for the CTX. All bikes run fantastic and smooth. Your bike may, however, run just slightly louder when compared to regular conventional, so you will hear all the inner ticks and spinning a bit more, but its almost negligible. I also have sensitive ears. What better way than this though to bond with your bike? =)
The best priced synthetic oil I have found considering the price and performance. You can even extend your oil change intervals to 4000-5000 if you want with regular riding.

Rotella T6 is a high quality motor oil, and a great value when you catch it on sale. I live in North Dakota where winter ambient temps can drop to 40 degrees (F) below zero. I run Rotella T6 in my personal LBZ Duramax truck, and my work truck (also Duramax, but LML). I keep the block heaters plugged in during the winter most of the time, but occasionally cold starting without a block heater cannot be avoided. This motor oil is always up to the task. Rotella T6 has an extremely low (temperature) pour point, and the Duramax engines are able to build oil pressure quickly no matter how cold it is.
Rotella T6 is a true 4-season performer; I run it year round. On a fresh oil change when I’m driving lots during the summer, I’ll go up to 20k mile service intervals. I wouldn’t recommend 20k intervals unless you rack up miles very quickly, and your diesel engine does not use EGR.

At the time of this review I have only traveled 100 miles with this oil.
The most apparent difference is that my fuel consumption has gone up, nothing unexpected but not everyone might think oil could affect MPGs.
I have gone from 18.6mpg to 15.6mpg on my trip computer in the 100 miles travelled so far. I travel almost always in the city, with frequent stops and short distances, so I feel that this is also the reason why my mpg has suffered.
I will keep an eye out for future changes.
Aside from this, I am hoping this thicker oil will help quieten the valve chatter, as it was very noticeable on thinner 5W-20/30 oils.
Finally I will be looking to see how much oil will be burnt towards the 6K mile mark with this oil, and how the oil will come out when it will be time to replace. I have used dino oil for the last two changes and have gone through 2 quarts in the final 1000 miles, so this might help reduce the oil consumption.
I am using this on a Wrangler JK with excess of 70k miles coupled with a RP High Mileage filter.

I usually buy my oil from Walmart since they’re the cheapest anywhere, but I was out of state and knew my wife’s atv needed a oil change as soon as I got home. Amazon had a great deal on Rotella so I order a bottle and had it waiting for me as soon as I got home. I use Rotella engine oil in both my atv’s since the engine shares oil with the gear box. Rotella has additional detergents and additives for longevity in the more heavily abused diesels. When I first got into atvs I was told not to run the expensive stuff (royal purple/amsoil) since these machines could need a oil change after a weekend of hard use, i.e. mud holes, heavy dust/sand and deep water. Since Rotella diesel oil is severe duty oil it’s more protection than your machine will ever need and cheap enough to change as needed. Those looking for a review for diesel trucks, I’ve used this oil in 2 different 12 valve cummins and a powerstroke without fail and still trust it in my trucks.
