D. Anderson –
Bought 2 sets of brake pads to replace the front and back brakes on a Trek Navigator 300. Installation went with a problem and the braking power is noticeably better. These replacement brake pads offer a little more braking surface than the originals and I noticed the difference. There is a lot of options out there on the internet, but you can’t go wrong with Shimano parts.

Funcionan excelente, ya llevo un par de meses con ellos y no se ve desgaste, no hacen ruido y el frenado es suave
SuperKenshin –
I’m new to maintaining my own bike and picked these because they looked similar to my current brake pads.
I simply unbolted my old ones and put the new ones in their place. I used all the washers and the nut from the previous brakes (making sure I kept them in the same order) for the sake of simplicity.
Install took less than 10 minutes. So far, so good.

These are the pads against which all others are judged. They have a firmer compound and last a long time, tho with some occasional noise due to the pad density. All pads of this type are finicky to install- they have a rotating nuckle which allows the pads to be installed flat to the rim. Best install method is to ease the pretension on the brake cable, loosely tighten, then squeeze brake lever lightly, then wiggle the pad around to proper orientation, then tighten, then ride once, then (if necessary) repeat to perfection. I don’t think I have ever been satisfied with the very first attempt-

Bolts were missing for not being wrapped. It was delivered in a box without sealing. The worst package I have received. The product is useless now. Waste of money!
mintel –
Had kool stops on my gravel bike. They braked well and squealed. Installed these. They brake well and do not squeal. End of story.

I purposefully bought these being economically minded, and I feel like I got my money worth. They’re not the best, they’re not the worst. That said, it’s probably a good idea to spend a bit more for higher quality brakes.

Schimano ist immer besser für mich.

Perfect fit and good quality pads. Simple to install
Geezer –
Came with all the necessary spacers and washers. Bolted right up to my Giant Revel 2. Still braking them in, only three very short rides but they bite harder every day and they are silent. I got some lube accidentally on my old pads and they sounded like a school bus.
Geezer –
Needed new pads for my bike, these worked.

I used these to replace the Tektro 836.12 MTB- Brake Pads on my Trek FX Seven. One (22.5″ / 57 cm). They seem to work well so far!
