I’ve tried the various internet recommendations multiple times including sanding the pads and using a degreaser on the rims. The only thing I didn’t try was toeing in the pads, and why should I have to go to that extreme? Nothing worked. They squeak. It’s a bit odd as these Shimano pads replaced Shimano pads. Buyer beware.

I ordered these to use for my carbon rims. I received a pair that did not specify that they were for carbon rims. DOUBLE CHECK THAT THE PRODUCT SAYS “FOR CARBON RIMS”. Google a picture of the correct packaging to make sure. If you don’t this will screw up your rims.

The model number is correct, but the box indicates that these brakes are for aluminum rims.

When my swiss stop pads woreout I looked for other options as they woreout pretty quickly for the cost. The shimano pads stop just as well or better for a compariable cost. Only time will tell if they last longer.
I removed a star because they came without packaging. I got another set from another seller. They came faster and had the shimano packaging.

These were for “Aluminum” and not carbon. Make sure the box says “Carbon” on the front, and that they are gray in color, not black. The black pads are for “Alloy” rims. Never use alloy style pads on your carbon rims. This can be a safety issue.
