I bought the Sure mic to amplify the music from Alexa into a guitar amplifier. It worked great, I can now play along with Alexa thru a guitar amp at greater columns. I recommend this to every musician.

I bought this because I wanted to have a home karaoke setup on a semi-low budget without sacrificing too much quality.
I don’t have any experience with what high-end (expensive) mics are supposed to sound like, but I do have experience with what crappy mics sound like. I am referring to the ones you use at your typical Korean karaoke bars.
If you have a decent singing voice ( but not winning American Idol any time soon ), you are probably looking for mics that do a good job of reproducing your voice without breaking the bank. I believe this mic fits that criteria very well. When I sing through it, I feel that it is an accurate (to my ears) reproduction of my voice and it feels good to hear it. I don’t feel that way with cheaper, lower-quality mics.
I also decided to get wired instead of a budget wireless mic because I reasoned that more of the costs it took to make the mic went towards making it sound good, rather than making it work wirelessly.
The mic has a very sleek, professional look to it and feels solid and hefty. I did think it looked really short/tiny at first out of the box, but when you connect the cable it starts to look more like a normal-sized mic.
It also has an on/off version. If you are using a mic for karaoke purposes, I think this is an important feature. (There’s actually good reasons to buy a mic without an on/off version for live performances, you can Google about it)
Also, there are two versions of this product that comes with a cable: the XLR version and the 1/4″ (QTR) version. I highly recommend making sure you know what your input jack type is to avoid the hassle of having to exchange it.
TL; DR (Too Long, Didn’t Read)
This mic is a great value if:
– you are building a karaoke setup
– you have a decent singing voice, and want a mic that matches your skill
– you want a taste of quality without spending too much

Works great, no sounds problems

It looks like entry level but it’s perfect for my daughter to sing at home, sound quality is great we are using it with guitar amps and it works just fine. The sound quality is more than enough for garage band level.

It gives a great voice absorption, clear and strong amplifier. To be recommended.

My SM58 broke after years of use and I needed a temporary cheaper replacement. I came upon this mic. It is very similar to the sm58. The sound quality is about the same, the build quality is about the same, and this one even has a on/off switch! This mic is slightly more sensitive to explosives, but I can deal with that! This is a great mic for a ridiculously low price.

It’s built solid like all Sure mics . I can tell the it has a more veiled sound than a sm58 but I think it is more forgiving in a lot of area feedback and such. Honestly it’s perfect for karaoke the price you can’t beat . I’d give 5 but it would need a little bit more air. I use it plugged directly into a Yamaha 670bx keyboard and I think it will be fine . If you want a good solid performer for the cheapest price you can get buy it . It will probably outlast you!Lol

Jag har köpt mikrofonen för att koppla till min Korg PA700 och är väldigt nöjd med den.

I’ve owned a few no-brand mics and I didn’t realized what I was missing out on until I held one of these. This is an awesome mic. Sounds crystal clear and feels very pro. Don’t listen to reviews saying it makes noise when you’re handling the mic. It’s barely noticeable, honestly.
I bought the PGA 48 just to karaoke at home so buying one of the high end Shure mics was a no-no for me. This one is perfect for my family. I purchased with XLR to 1/4 jack. This plugs directly to my Sony MHC-V71 high power speaker. What a combo!
Unless you’re a pro and gonna be recording in a studio, trust me, this one is perfect for you. It comes with a cool bonus Shure sticker. I only wish the storage pouch was larger so it could accommodate the mic cable as well. Who on earth wants to store the mic and cable separately!
I included pictures of the user guide so u could see the whole package.
Hope u find this helpful!
