I wish I read the reviews before buying this product. The poles have a small diameter and the unit feels unstable. I definitely won’t be able to use it free standing,it will have to be kept in a corner.

These are very low quality. These shelves were $39 and I feel like I could have gotten something better at a dollar store for half the price!
Assembly was absolutely vexing (and I’m a handy gal) since the shelves slide down over the poles to be held up by these plastic. brackets that snap together. There is no way that this shelf will have a long life or hold as much weight as is advertised. During assembly, those brackets kept snapping off and shooting all over the room! Do we not use screws anymore?
Even though I’ve spent the night putting these shelves together, and reorganizing a closet, I’m contemplating returning them because I do not believe they will hold the items I want over time without breaking. Frustrating! I’m shocked by all the positive reviews.

Easy to assemble. I had my doubts about it after reading the bad reviews. I bought it because of size and it was 99% wire. It takes a little thought to put it together because the instructions are not much more than drawings. But once that is done, it is a breeze. There is a learning curve but not bad. If you study the pictures and look at the method of assembly for the base, the rest is the same. On each leg there is a scribed line suggesting where to put the plastic ‘keepers’ and each ‘keeper’ has an ‘up arrow’ showing the correct position for those. From there just make sure each shelf is at the correct level on all 4 legs. If you goof, you can undo them, and correct.
All total I think it took about 30 minutes including finding my plastic hammer and picking up the pieces I droped. It is sturdy but it is not for kids to climb on or engine parts from your old Honda, but you do you.

The measurements were accurate and this turned out to be the perfect size for the space it would occupy. It’s on the smaller side, but again, read the measurements provided. I like the freedom to select the spacing of the shelves (I use these racks to hang overhead grow lamps, coupled with warming mats). If you secure them correctly, the racks are stable and are able to support a decent amount of weight. This smaller rack is to keep organized all of my little nick knacks… twine, plant stakes, trellises, soil, seed starter trays and humidity domes…
I got this at a bargain… “Used-Like New” and 100% worth the $22 I paid. Seeing now the sturdiness and durability, I would pay regular price for this as well.

If the parts are not put in the right direction it is really wobbly, but if it is put together correctly it is very sturdy and does not wobble at all. The directions are not that great, so if it is wobbly then the pieces are upside down. Hope that helps.
