TL;DR – I’ve bought a bunch of hampers. I hated them all. This is the first one I’ve actually loved. You should buy it.
I did *not* want to buy this hamper. I’m a broke recent divorcee with a hyperactive cat who believes everything in my house is a launch point for zoomies. I wanted cheap and easy. I got flimsy netting pop ups that my cat promptly turned into modern art pieces, and foldable hampers that claimed to be sturdy and kept ending turned over or broken. Finally I said enough is enough, I need to take the plunge and go up a bit in budget, and I ended up purchasing this hamper.
What I love:
Sturdy (and like, I mean it). I have multiple large cats (I’m divorced, of course I got more cats) and they launch right off it without toppling the thing.
Large capacity. I live in a split level home with my washer and dryer upstairs. I loathe laundry days and put it off as long as possible. This basket lets me get away with that for far too long.
Beautiful and functional laundry bag! I really like the bright teal laundry back, and appreciate that it’s structurally sound and can hold two weeks worth of laundry while I’m spending most of my free time sipping wine and being hysterical about my ex husband’s rapidly vanishing hairline.
What I don’t love:
Honestly nothing. I didn’t want to pay this much for a hamper, but after trying a number of cheaper options, this was the first thing that survived my home and lifestyle.
