This Spigen [MFi Certified] Car Charger measures 1.20 x 1.20 x 3.04 and weighs about 2 ounces. This Spigen [MFi Certified] Car Charger comes with a permanently attached 3.3-foot lightning cable. This Spigen [MFi Certified] Car Charger offers 47 total watts of charging output that is split 27/20 lightning/USB C.
I have used this Spigen [MFi Certified] Car Charger daily for about 3 months and have always been relieved to have it in the car. 20 watts is fast enough to get a decent charge on most devices so if you have a long commute or you’re a rideshare/delivery person then this is almost an essential item to have. I wish the higher charging power had been given to the USB C port but there are lighting -to-USB C adapters available (not included) to make this conversion if desired.
What I liked most about this Spigen [MFi Certified] Car Charger was:
– Dual charging
– Didn’t drain my battery
– Permanently attached cable is durable
– Slim footprint
What I liked least about this Spigen [MFi Certified] Car Charger was:
– 27-watt charging dedicated to the older, more outdated Lightning Port instead of the USB C port
– Have to purchase a separate USB C to USB C cable
Overall, if your vehicle is older or simply does not have internal charging connections then this Spigen [MFi Certified] Car Charger is an ideal choice for you. ThisSpigen [MFi Certified] Car Charger offers two relatively fast charging options that have held up well over the course of my 3 months of usage. I wish this Spigen [MFi Certified] Car Charger gave more wattage to the USB C charging port and came with a USB C to USB C cable but even when those are factored in this Spigen [MFi Certified] Car Charger is a good purchase. 4.0 out of 5.0

I saw the charging options in my parent’s car and I had to upgrade their situation for them. There were still using slow charging cables and I didn’t have the patience for that.
I got this Spigen car charger which comes with two charging options: a 27W charger for iDevices like your iPad or iPhone, and a 20w USB-C option for any higher-end USB-C device. The Lightning cable is built-in and 1 meter (3.3 feet) long. You’ll have to buy your own USB-C cable.
Upgrade your parent’s car, or yours. You can charge devices fast and have enough juice by the time you reach your destination.

I have always been a fan of Spigen since I learned that they are a local company. I’ve used their amazing screen protectors, cables, cases, and other accessories for iPhone. This is a great dual car charger with lightning port and a USB type C. These are very well made chargers and the cable is reinforced at the connector port yet allows for a case to be used without any interference when plugging it into your iPhone. There’s an indicator light that is not bright but you can see when there’s power being delivered to the charger from your car lighter port. You can also store away the cable by using the velcro tie that comes included. The USB C port has enough clearance so you can plug and unplug it easily without anything getting in the way. The length of the lightning cable is also very generous giving you 3.3 ft or 1m in length. The part that goes into your car cig lighter is also really solid and fits well into the port without any wiggle and doesn’t get stuck like some cheap chargers. I really like this Spigen accessory and highly recommend it for your iPhone and other charging needs.

It was hard to write a good review when the product doesn’t work. Called Amazon and couldn’t do anything for me. Out $35. Oh well.

This car charger is sold under the Spigen brand name, which is a company whose phone cases I have used in the past. I don’t think they actually manufacture the charger themselves as they do with their cases, but I trust that they chose a good OEM.
This charger does provide the full 27W from its Lightning connector. That happens to be the maximum that the latest iPhone at the time of review (November 2022), the iPhone 14 Pro Max, is capable of accepting. I wasn’t able to verify this directly because its Lightning cable is built in, but the charging time is correct for 27W and the Lightning connector doesn’t show up as unsupported when connected. However, I was able to measure the USB-C port outputting 20W USB-PD as claimed, and can also confirm that fast charging of two devices at the same time is possible.
If you’re just looking for a car charger, lower-priced options exist that will give you the same experience. Still, a charger from a name brand like this one is the better choice if you need a warranty, higher baseline standards of reliability, longevity, and safety, and a MFi cable that’s actually MFi.

Spigen create products that are expensive but do not do what they supposed to do and that’s dissatisfied this charger didn’t hold up for a month and it already broken
