About a third of the price as the competitor brands. And they are every bit as good as the other ones.

Not a bad value, but not as good as say Harbor Freight. If you are careful and don’t try to over tighten anything, they should work fine. I used 4 plugs for a project I was working on and they all worked. They can handle a 16 gauge wire. Since these are inexpensive, the were a pain in the asinine to work with. I should have broke out the soldering iron to solder the tips of the wire before installing. I recommend that you tin the wire tips if you are going to do 3 or more. Do Not try to get a 14 gauge multi strand into the plugs, it you don’t tin them, as it will never happen.
Be careful when clamping down the cable going into the plug, as you can easily strip the plastic.

I removed the ground screw and then had a challenging time putting it in because the end stripped. I attempted to install a second connector and the neutral screw stripped. I also had to cut the wires very short so the bare wires would not extrude from the plug which makes it challenging to install short wires but maybe that is normal. I’d like to have one new plug but I do not want to return the entire package (10) because I don’t want to wait for shipping unless all of them will strip.

Well the price is low too… these are not Leviton but they do the job, so if you need these and your budget is tight, go for it!

Great product and good price. Do not temper with the opening at crimped end. Just strip the jacket to pass the wires and pull the wires to force the jacket in. Makes a tight fit.

I needed to replace the plug for a kettle with a flat cord and the plug’s clamp worked well with the flat cord.
