I bought these a few months ago, and any awkward pressure you make to the basket breaks the handles. They feel very sturdy, and I was very happy with them, but those handles are a weak point. I was surprised at how easily they broke. I recommend everyone NOT to buy these.

I had some older laundry baskets from this manufacturer that are decades old and very durable. These baskets look very similar however the plastic is thinner and tends to crack at the handles. The different color handles snap on and look nice but the design of the recessed area to accommodate the handles results in a weak area that is prone to failure. To be fair if you use the baskets gently they’re very functional but I’ve had a few that cracked when I’ve lifted the basket from one of the long side handles. I’ve never broken one at the short end handles. If a heavy duty model was offered like my older baskets I’d be happy to pay a little more. Thicker plastic near the handles or a redesigned handle area would solve this.

Price was a little higher than some of the other sizes I (incorrectly) purchased first due to trial and error for the stand. The brand is worth the extra money to not replace them when your kid breaks them while trying to “drive” in a laundry basket or whatever other creative play they decide to do.
