These are beautiful, I love the colour and shape and they’re exactly what I wanted. They are a bit heavy, and as you can see from the second picture, one of the plates has some spots that I *hope* will come out. I’m not completely bothered by the spots as I had some bamboo plates before this that were very prone to staining. All considered, I don’t regret buying, I think they’re lovely.

I purchased two sets of these dishes for wedding gifts for my son and daughter-in-love. We were all so pleased upon opening the box to see the great quality of the stoneware. Each piece has a great feel to it – the weight is balanced. The edges were smooth and the bottoms were not going to scratch your table if moved around on the surface. As my son unboxed both sets, he noticed a couple of very small spots on 2 plates (out of 2 complete sets of dishes) that the glaze had not covered, and the spots were white on matte black dishes. He contacted the company, and they handled the situation with great customer service. They sent new plates out immediately for the two that had spots – and those two arrived in perfect condition. These dishes are really a great quality product that the company stands behind. They look great on the table and could compliment any style of decorating. Highly recommend!

It is a beautiful set however when I received it the box was huge, open and not well packed at all for the size of the box and coming halfway across the country. The plates were smashed when I opened the box but Amazon processes the refund on it.
I reached out to the company but have yet to hear back from them.

To the manufacturer: what a waste of a beautiful set of dishes and you really need to train your shipping employees much much better than that.
Absolutely nothing to identify the package was first of all HEAVY – no identifying it is over weight and no stickers to identify it is fragile. 1 small piece of brown paper in a box that was huge. I small piece of packing tape to close the box and it was 98% open when I received it.
Update** I reached out to the manufacturer to see if I could arrange replacement pieces but because I live in CANADA I was told to contact whoever I purchased it from which I think for the 2 pieces I needed was extremely unprofessional and very poor customer service. I definitely would never purchase anything from Stone Lain again! Terrible customer service. Stay clear!

We wanted black ,durable dishes for a while and that’s what we got. Totally worth it! They are thick, easy to clean and use. Dishwasher safe, and I love the shape of them. Do not hesitate!

They were packaged very very well. No chips or breakage. I bought the 8 place setting. The box weighed 42 pounds. So be prepared!! There are 2 individuals boxes within in the large box. I separated the 2 boxes in order to be able to carry them by myself. Gorgeous dinnerware! Very sturdy. She was quite excited when she opened them. I purchased these in the black.

I’ve wanted black dished for a long time and had my eye on some magnolia dishes but they were expensive and had terrible reviews! I came across these and bought them on Black Friday for an awesome deal! I got a total of 16 place settings. Everything was packaged so well nothing broke! I thought for sure with 64 dishes being shipped something would be broke, everything was perfect. One of my mugs does have some kind of defect or chip though, but I didn’t feel it was enough to knock any stars or contact customer service. These dishes are beautiful! Some people were saying they are more of a charcoal gray, I could see that but I think it’s just because they are matte. They also are not a “cookie cutter” dish. Some have little flaws or are shaped a little different but I chalk it up to being handmade and rustic. If you are looking for plates that stack perfectly these aren’t it. Because of the lip they also stack a lot higher than my previous dishes, I can’t fit all of them on the same shelf. I also have to skip slots in the dishwasher, none of these things bug me but thought I’d add that to the review for others. I also read lots of reviews about scratches, we’ve used these everyday for about a week and I’ve seen a couple very light scratches, nothing I would complain about. We have two rough boys who eat on these and unload the dishwasher and put these away for me and they’re holding up great. I have yet to use a steak knife on them so I can update on that once I do. As far as the mugs I do feel they’re on the small side, I’m an avid coffee drinker and do prefer a bigger mug. But again overall they’re still great! No regrets, I am loving these dishes so far!

I love this Stone + Lane Celina dinnerware! I’m extremely picky about everything, and this set exceeded my expectations. Each piece is the perfect size, style, and color. The plates are modern and flat, but have a small lip on the bottom that makes them easy to stack. The cereal bowls are nice and deep. Each piece is sturdy, but not overly heavy. I’ve used them at least twice a day for the past 2-weeks, and so far, no scratches. With the soft white color, I’m expecting scratches eventually from flatware, but so far, this dinnerware is much better then the CB2 set I’ve had for over 10-years. They arrived in super protective packaging, so not one piece was chipped or broken. If you love the look, but are afraid of the quality at this price, don’t worry at all. They’re just as nice as any stoneware you’ll find at Crate & Barrel or Pottery Barn. I’m very impressed!
