They make my other stands look like kids toys.
The cross pin is the same diameter as a .50 cal round
I placed down 3/4 ply and lifted the truck for a week to test for any signs of deformation in the thread bare, hard pack driveway. The truck was steady despite some really aggressive pushing to test stability and there wasnt so much as a blemish in the plywood, let alone deformation of soil below.
This product didnt just make my project possible. It made it a safe task with no sense of need to rush any single aspect..

These are not cheap or inexpensive. How much is your life or safety worth? If you’re on the fence, jump off and get a set for your safety. I measured the frame height and bought the tallest set to accommodate my needs. I’ve been using heavy duty jackstands for all the work I’ve been doing. They’ve been good enough, but I always wanted extra height or workspace under the truck. I feared a failure of the standard jackstands when supporting the frame.
These are heavy and heavy duty. There’s no question as to the lock feature with the pin. The height is great for what I needed.
I didn’t notice anything that would deter me from recommending these to a friend or coworker.
