loved the product and easy to use

This is the best jack I’ve ever used. It rapidly raises a car, operates smoothly, and slides under very low cars easily. This jack works on my VW Corrado (substantially lowered on Koni coilovers), my E46 (lowered with a Koni spring/shock kit), and my Jeep Cherokee. It fits all factory jacking points on all my vehicles and is extremely versatile.
While the jack is pretty heavy, my Craftsman jack weighed more and didn’t offer anywhere near the clearance this thing does. This is very easy to roll around the garage floor and most people won’t need to lift their jack up in normal use anyways.
The handle can slide over a 1/2″ drive wrench and double as a breaker bar extension.
I feel that the price is very fair for what you get. Don’t mess around with cheap equipment especially when your safety could be at risk.
SoundOff –
I purchased this jack because of it lift range 3.5″ – 18.5″. Due to the jack points on my Jeep. I needed something that had a range over 17″. This lift just accommodates that requirement. It being low profile is not necessary for the Jeep, however, you never know if you might need it for something else that you may need the low profile for.
Pros:
– Appears to be solidly constructed
– Steel wheels
– Can release or raise the jack from any handle position
– Hydraulic Pump lifts the jack easily
Cons:
– Heavy (Relate to your standard in-car jack)
– Retaining Wire can be tricky to remove
This jack has performed well in all the uses that I have needed it for. I have a lifted Jeep Wrangler that has 35″ tires and I used the jack to rotation the tires. As well as, install an upgraded suspension. The lift works great.
It raises with minimal pumping and lifts extremely well.
When the jack is delivered, there is a retaining wire installed to keep the jack from accidentally raising during shipping. This took me a little time to figure out how to remove. There are really no instructions with the exception of the warning document that tells you to remove it before use. After several attempts at man handling the wire with little success. I decided to remove the bolt that the under portion of the wire was on. This bolt was not retaining any part of mechanism other than stability and strength of the jack at that area. Since it was not under pressure I decided it was safe to remove. Once the bolt was removed, the wire was released and I replaced the bolt back into its original position.
The jack pumps up standard to any jack I have used of the same type. I found this jack easy to use. Twist handle Clockwise to set for lifting. Turn handle Counter-Clockwise to release. I have read reviews reporting that when you try to slowly release the pressure that the vehicle only releases to the ground. I have no such issues, I can feather the jack down a little if I need, in order to set a little pressure on the tire for instance, to tighten the lag nuts. I have no problems at all adjusting the height slightly up or down.
Jack has taken on several projects since I purchased it and shows no signs of wear. It was shipped without damage and I love having this tool in my garage. Just what I was expecting. Great Jack !!!

I bought a cheap floor jack and it’s like a toy. It would not raise my sedan high enough to put the car on jack stands. It was rated for 2 tons, but I don’t think it can lift that much weight This Arcan jack is heavy and serious, It easily lifted my car well past the minimum height of the jack stands and seems very stable and sturdy. Good investment.

I got this jack for ~ $130, which is much more reasonable than the $240 it’s going for now. This review is looking from the $130 point of view.
For $130, it’s a pretty decent jack. My partner and I have used this as our main floor jack for a couple years. We were primarily interested in it being low car friendly. It’s alright in that regard, it managed to get under our lowered BRZs relatively well.
Durability and build quality is average. We alright have slight bending on the handle stop bar and we’ve had to disassemble it once due to a dirty piston.
Overall, it’s a pretty good entry-level jack for cars.

My old service jack crapped out after about 15 years of use. It was slowly becoming less efficient and harder to use. Finally it quit completely. I primarily used it to service my Toro Zero Radius mower. Since the Toro is so large and heavy, I needed a way to get under it safely to: sharpen the blades by hand, change the tires, and to put the drive belt back on whenever it fell off. Using the lift was also the best way to get under the mower to wash the clumped grass out that builds up when the grass is wet. And we had a record amount of rain this year in Southwest Florida.
This Arcan Service Jack came well packed with good documentation. When I began to put it together I didn’t know that there was another label that was still inside the shipping box, so I pondered on a wire that seemed to be holding the handle socket to the lower frame. After looking at it for awhile I realized that the wire must have been part of the shipping protection and I simply tapped it with a large screwdriver and hammer. It shot across the garage with a bang and narrowly missed hitting me. Little did I know that it was under a pretty good amount of pressure. No mention of this wire was made in the owner’s manual, so I looked in the shipping container again and found a warning label at the bottom. Of course it was about the wire that I had just removed and stated quite clearly how dangerous removing it improperly could be. Please look for that warning label before taking the wire off!!!!!
Once I slid the handle in the socket and tightened down the bolt, I pumped the handle 10 times to take it to maximum height. I then turned the handle to the left to let the hydraulics deflate and drop the jack back level to the base. This thing is well built, pretty heavy, and lifts my mower quite a bit higher in the air for whatever servicing issues I have. It makes my old jack look like the piece of cheap metal that it was. I just didn’t know it until I got this new Arcan model. Very happy with this unit.
