It was so expensive, I realise too late Sephora have the same one in half price, and I’m not pretty sure about the quality, at first it was smooth but some days later it just turned liquid

The titular adjectives are what immediately spring to mind when lathering this cleanser on your face for the first time. The fragrance comes across as light, natural and crisp, in contrast with the synthetic chemical fragrance of other big brand cleansers. Its smell is that of a decadent high-end spa where you might peacefully laze away a much-needed afternoon of self-care.
The only complaint I have is really minor, and that is I would have expected a higher quality pump. This cleanser is quite thick and viscous, so you may have to help the pump along on the upstroke. Different packaging would be the final touch to firmly elevate this to the $40 premium this product commands.
Still, it is entirely worth it, in my opinion.

I love this cleanser so much! I received it originally in a free birthday kit from Sephora. Feel in love with it. Be sure to lather on your hands before using on your face so it foams up. It makes my skin feel so soft and clean! I usually will do micellar water afterwards under my eyes to remove remaining mascara. Super simple and effective. I’m a big skincare nut (I have a nightly regimen I follow) and have tried many different brands and treatments. This is well worth the price tag! The glass bottle is environmentally friendly as well and seems to be lasting a long time.

I happened to see this recommended in the NYT Wire utter series & thought I’d try it. I think it’s supposed to be for people much younger than my 73 years, but I like it anyway. The lather is moderate, and it rinses off easily, and I love the fragrance – very fresh & spring-like. I will be buying more.

Plus ever since I started using this cleanser, I no longer get break outs and my skin is not as dull as it used to be. You also don’t need a full pump as it suds up a lot half or even less than half a pump is more than enough for your face.

My only complaint is the packaging. There is no seal on the bottle when you take the cap off. I received my order with a crack in the cap and there was some product leakage. It does arrive with a pump to use.
