I really like how informative this book is; especially since it deals with a period of history that we have so little information about. I don’t really care for the part about the criminals but in the end we don’t really know what happens to them; they are not the focal point of the story. Some of the things they believed seem really outlandish but I think a lot of that had to do with the time period; people really were ignorant about diseases.
