These were purchased to replace the 7 year old factory head lights in my Silverado. They are brighter and have a good pattern on the road, but not LED bright. I am happy for the price.
Ryan Robey –
Definitely lights up road and dividing lines WAY BETTER!! Helps with dark rainy night driving. Helps get my Mother home safe at night! Should have upgraded a long time ago!! Twist and lock install. Extremely happy with purchase!!
Jeremy Noring –
They’re better than the headlights they replaced, but far from game changing. The quality of light seems good enough. I didn’t want to go LED because it seems like there’s so many quality issues, but that may have been a mistake? Not sure.
A decent product, just don’t expect to be blown away. Probably better than OEM, but not by a huge margin.
Katorah Aaron –
They are very bright, and we were pleased with them. However one bulb just went out, we haven’t even had it for a full year. For the price you would expect them to last longer.

I bought this as a cheap alternative to HIDs. I have a 2009 scion xb and it being winter, i use my headlights a lot. I was going to buy HIDs but i didn’t want to cough up 150 bucks for it. While these aren’t totally cheap and the reviews stating its short life, i was keen to try it just for the winter so at least if and when the bulbs do burn out, it’s probably spring time and i’ll just buy HIDs then. I will say it is REALLY bright. Visibility is one of the best i have experienced. And i have owned many cars with HIDs or stock bulbs. The visibility is amazing, the light line is perfect and the range of light is spot on. I can really see everything with these. It almost makes me not wanna ever go HIDs. Which brings me to my only complain. I don’t really care about its short life, hell i don’t mind buying new ones every 3 months for the performance this has, i just wish the lighting didn’t look stock. In the commercial it says its supposed to be “whiter”? I didn’t notice that, it just seems brighter than stock, same color. I wish it was a white white. Like how luxury cars come stock. I know those are HIDs but i wish i had the color of the HIDs but with the visibility of these bulbs. I guess i’m happy for now.

My 2019 Nissan Rogue Special Edition was purchased with 47,400 miles on it and it is in great shape. The only thing I noticed is that while driving at night a few weeks back for the first time, the high beams worked well, the low beams were a little dingy, faded after time and use. I replaced them with my go to bulbs H11 Silverstar Ultras. My Rogue has angel eye led lamps for daytime running lights so I don’t have to worry about them prematurely burning out being used as such. Now my night time driving is safe and secure and well lit. I changed the bulbs myself and have pretty bad arthritis so it was very easy, at least for the low beams. The high beams would have needed a trip to my favorite shop because they are buried. I’ve used the Sylvania Silverstar Ultras in a number of cars with excellent service from them and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Best performing low beam headlight bulb for the 2006 Buick Allure CX 3.8L V6.
This is an H11 replacement bulb pair for my low beam headlights. I got about 2 years out of my last pair of the exact same make and model from Sylvania. They provide a good colour rendering index of projected light under all driving conditions including snow ❄️. It projects light really far and clearly for night driving. It is also a good colour temperature for the eyes. It is a little bit challenging to replace the low beam headlight bulb for my vehicle but I have the procedure down pat so it is easier now.
I recommend this exact H11 Sylvania bulb as a replacement because you should never skimp or compromise your ability to see clearly when driving at night. It is the best in their lineup of replacement headlight bulbs. Always replace headlight bulbs in pairs!!!
I don’t recommend LED headlights because they may also throw ECU codes for incompatibility, unless you’re certain they won’t from the manufacturer. Double check this functional requirement with the manufacturer before purchasing an LED replacement headlight bulb pair. Always replace headlight bulbs in pairs!!!

It’s not the brand. These things are designed to have a short life. 2010 Mazda has never needed replacements but 2012 Subaru goes through them regularly. I have learned to turn off the headlights when there’s light to extend their lives. (The Mazda does that on its own!)

I had to replace the whole headlight assemblies of my Volvo and bought these bulbs for better lighting.
I’m a little disappointed as they are not really white, more a yellowish tone and I see two lighter patches on the road in front of me while around these patches there is less light. I played around with the adjustment of height and width, but it doesn’t change the patched lighting.
I got another pair for another car with old headlight assemblies and it’s the same not really white and bright light. At least they are of good longevity, it’s almost a year since installing them.

My OEM bulb decided to call it quits, prompting me to give the Sylvania H11 Silverstar Ultra a shot. Verdict? The brightness goes above and beyond, illuminating the night and revealing details I didn’t know were there.
I attached a picture for you to witness the light for yourself. While I don’t have a snapshot of the OEM bulb for a side-by-side, it is obvious to me that these Silverstar Ultras outshine in terms of light volume and crystal-clear vision.
Now, the only hiccup is, despite being touted as ‘WHITE LIGHT,’ it’s more of a subtle, cozy glow—maybe around 3000K to a max of 3500K. That is the reason why they do not get a 5-star!
At this moment, I do not know how long the bulbs will last. Just hold my hope!

I bought these on April 9, 2024 and it is now November 7, 2024 and one of my low beam have already burned out. Not a very happy customer right now, since I had paid a professional mechanic shop to install both low and high beams with Sylvania bulbs. It is a hard time to install because you have to get underneath my car (2017 Chevy Traverse) and remove the wheels skirt to get to them. This had cost me $400 in April and now I will have to pay out money again. Don’t trust this brand if you have to pay someone to install them like I do. Being a senior citizen that is handicap is not easy to crawl under a car.

I use High and Low Beam Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs in both my truck and car. I live in the country where the deer population is tremendous. Leave for work each morning before daybreak. These lights give me the upper hand in spotting these deer early enough to brake and avoid them. Yes, they are pricey and last about a year. But, after a couple deer incidents at a $500 deductible each time. They are well worth the money in my eyes.

I’ve only had these bulbs in for a couple weeks. Other reviews tell me they only last 8 months to a year, but I shall wait and see. The OEM bulbs, I replaced these with, are still working and have been since 2011. I just needed better night vision on the road. The OEM bulbs are fairly dim. These bulbs have certainly improved the nighttime viewing area!
