The guitar is just beautiful! Though it’s a laminated top, the sound is really very good. At this price point you will have a hard time finding a guitar that looks, plays and sounds this good. I love this guitar and find myself picking up this one more often than my more expensive guitars. The initial setup was good as well. I did choose to shave 1mm off the saddle because I prefer a slightly lower action. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with this one.

Bought this one a couple of days ago,had Ibanez, like the way it sounded, but did little research tried the Takamine loved it the way it sounds feels looks and it will last a long time,I’m very happy and pleased with it, I also had a acustic guitar no way did it compare to the Takamine, you will not regret getting this

I have wanted to play a guitar forever and finally I found the perfect beginner guitar. It is easy to play, holds tune pretty good and if my guitar playing venture does not pan out then I am happy with the amount of money spent. The guitar travels with me and so far so good that it is not beat to death. Thanks for a great product.

Roman Villegas –
Strange and annoying buzzing on certain frets regardless of action.
Kathryn Murray –
Beautifully made guitar. Absolutely thrilled with the quality of this instrument. I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. He had owned a Takamine before, but said the details in this one were unbelievable. Such a beautiful guitar, and so pleased with this purchase.
