I bought this to replace my Mr Coffee that suddenly died. To get the most similar new Mr Coffee would have been over $75 which was surprising. This Taylor Swoden was about half the price and has the most important features for me: bold brew, auto shut off, programmable. And it’s the right size.
It brews very well. I am not sure why some people find it hard to fill, but it is not at all hard to fill. Makes very hot coffee (almost too hot, but that’s better than not hot enough), and keeps it hot for 2 hours before shutting off. I do wish it had an alert tone to tell us when the coffee is ready, but it’s not too hard to figure out when it stops making brewing noises, it’s done LOL.
It has a “clean me” reminder light that will supposedly turn on after a couple months of use, to remind me to descale it. Honestly if my Mr Coffee had had this feature it would probably still be with us — I didn’t know how important descaling was.
As some have noted, it can be messy when pouring. I’ve had that happen a few times. But it was because I was pouring too fast, and more coffee was coming out than the spout could accommodate. If I pour mindfully and watch what I am doing, there is no mess. But because of this and the coffee being hotter than I personally like, I gave it 4 stars rather than 5.
I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Works great, small compact design and uses little power. This review is cover power draw of the coffee maker. Wattage varies as it’s brewing between 870-893Watts @ 7.5 amps. Works great with my 1500 watt inverter during camping trips. It takes 11 mins to brew a full 12 cup pot. There’s no audio alert when it’s finished brewing, instead the blue flashing LED stops flashing and stay on. If the “strong” brew feature is used the coffee maker cycles the brew time on and off. The cycle time is on 20 secs. then off 20secs. through the entire brewing cycle. Wattage is between 877-879watts for this feature. Once the brew is finished, the warmer begins operating in a power cycle mode. Cycle time is 4mins., meaning the warmer kicks on for 20secs then shuts off, 4mins later it kicks on for another 20secs. It repeats this cycle for about an 1 hr. before shutting off completely. The warmer draws 885-890watts during the “on” portion of the cycling. The clean feature draws 923watts but drops to around 906watts. Clean mode also has power cycles, runs 1min then off 2mins and repeats until the cleaning is finished. Oddly, the warming plate is also active during the clean mode so you have warm vinegar water at the end. Amps varied from 7.4 to 7.6amps for all above mentioned. No condensation formed on the plastic housing, top gets hot as expected, solid build, coffee tastes fine and pours from the carafe without spilling. One more thing I like is the access lid snaps closed so doesn’t rattle or open during bumpy road travel.

My previous coffee maker only lasted two years and it was quite expensive…. I bought this one specifically because of the inexpensive price and especially the color…. I like the retro green color… It’s a very simple coffee maker. The build quality isn’t super great, but it’s really nothing to complain about especially nowadays when everything seems to be made so cheap… the thing is …it works and does the job…. The price is amazing ….it brews Coffee fairly quickly and it taste great! You can’t really go wrong!

Works as expected.
No manual needed to set the clock, set autostart. The dedicated buttons are simple and self-explanatory – there is no dumb programming menu to figure out and fuss with.
This is as easy as it gets.
The only caveat is that I use this to make tea, and the wide flat basket bottom is not well suited for that (as opposed to the conical ones). But for coffee this is just fine.

Nice, inexpensive little coffee maker. Easy to program and makes a great cup of coffee. Don’t know who Taylor Swoden is or why his/her name is written on the front, but okay.
I have not had the spillage issues others have had with the carafe at all, though the opening at the top is not huge so if you’re not careful when you pour the water in, I can see how you might spill a little but again, I have not had this issue.
The only thing that could be added are rubber ‘feet’ on the bottom of the coffee maker itself. It tends to slide around on the countertop so you have to hold it in place when you take the carafe out or put it back in, or really when you touch it at all. This can cause the coffee maker to fall off the countertop.
Otherwise, I am happy with it!

No doubt this is super cute. Love the color. But it is poor quality… it’s made of flimsy plastic and the screen is difficult to read when the certain buttons are lit (there’s a faint glow from the other buttons so you can’t tell which ones are lit while programming) It did come with a reusable basket with I like but again poor quality. **Edit- I’ve it one time and just realized the (1) on the hour doesn’t even show up. In the picture it’s supposed to be 10:01…. Instead it shows 0:01. Super bummed.
