This pedal sounds fantastic. The fat switch adds extra sound over the original. Very happy with this purchase.

Nice Klone, but don’t pay that ridiculous $147. You can get one from an online or local music store for under $60.

If you want a warm, full overdrive with just the right amount of dirt, this is the one. Not shrill, not flubby. I’m using this pedal into the front of both my Fender Super Sonic, and Soldano SLO30. Stacks well with a Mosky Golden Horse for killer lead tones. I now have 10 other drive pedals for sale…haha!

Great little pedal. Pushes a slightly dirty amp into a great saturated sound that’s still usable and not too gained out. Seems to have a bit more gain than a SD1/TS9 type pedal, but a very different eq and therefore sound. There are a million Klon clones now, this is a good one, for a decent price

Good sounding overdrive. Never played any other Klon clones. I didn’t end up keeping it for a few reasons.

    1. Really small, but not in a good way. My boards are the kind with large gaps and this little pedal would either only go right on an edge or turned sideways.

    2. The top mounted jacks are a pain. I got a couple Walrus with top mounts. I just prefer side mount.

    3. The switch activates on release. Not on the press. I had read about this and didn’t think I’d mind. But I do. It’s not cool at all. I don’t know who thought this would be OK.

I have a JHS 3 series Screamer that I like more. Just prefer it more overall and it doesn’t have the issues above. I have a TC Spark Boost (4 knob version) and Sub N Up and I like those. They have a normal switch that activates on press.

I had a few other TC that activated on release. They also had top mount jacks. So I couldn’t recommend any of that style.

For the price you can’t beat the Zeus drive. I own several Klones and TC got it right. My only complaint, it doesn’t have the output/headroom that other pedals have. If you like Klon type pedals you’ll love this one.

Davvero un ottimo pedale, sembra davvero l’iconico Centaur. Tra l’altro con una Stratocaster ed una Gibson cosa suona male?

    Awesome. Wide array of overdrive.
Works really well with my Mustang Micro Plus (Twin Reverb setting) through headphones.

Tip: set volume on pedal to atleast 2 to 3 o’clock to hear fullness through headphones. Then adjust drive to taste.

Fat switch really adds to versatility

    単独だとあまり面白くないかも知れませんが、他の歪み系と合わせると無茶苦茶際立ちます。本家ケンタウロスはわかりませんが、これは即一軍入りです。

If you’re like me and use a Klon-type pedal as an overdrive instead of a clean boost, it is one of the weakest Klones I’ve ever used in that regard. That said, it is a decent clean boost. It’s a very small pedal and won’t take up much room, but it is ultimately a disappointing product.

not the Germanium initial release units anymore … but simply clipping out the Silicon diodes tuned this into my amplifier’s new front end; the boost, and a glorious Klon like mid-push into an amp on the edge…and at this price.
