Muy buen repetidor. Detecta muy rápido tu wifi, y te amplÃa la señal una barbaridad. Yo calculo que unos 20 metros con muros de por medio. Y unos 40 metros libres.
A favor:
Discreto, bonito diseño, documentación ya viene en español e inglés, no solo chino. Relativamente fácil de configurar, el reducido precio!. Te mejora la cobertura una barbaridad, más del doble que el wifi que tenÃa antes, siempre todas las rayitas del wifi, sin lags ni desconexiones, velocidad constante, pero…
En contra:
A lo mucho me da 20 mbps de velocidad. Yo tengo contratado 60 mbps, y los 60 sà me los da conectados en el ruteador principal. Este repetidor me reduce a 20 pero eso si, con todas las rayitas de la señal aún a 40 metros de distancia. No tiene cómo sujetarlo a la pared, tiene que ir en repisa o librero, o idearle un soporte de sujeción a la pared. Necesitas tener cierto conocimiento en redes para configurar, o tomarte el tiempo de ver unos videos de youtube para hacerlo, no es difÃcil configurarlo pero sà necesitas ya tener algo de conocimiento en red doméstica.
Conclusión: por precio y practicidad, para mà es la mejor opción para casas grandes de 2 o 3 plantas, pero solo si tienes contratados 50 o menos megas con tu proveedor. Para conexiones de 60, 100, 200 o más megas, te va a bajar mucho la velocidad, ahà te recomiendo un repetidor con protocolo gigabit y 5G, claro, costará el triple cuando menos.

I am a pretty techy person, but I was unable to make this router to work even after trying multiple methods to get it up and running. Their customer service is almost impossible to get ahold of. I tried to contact their assistance line, which was listed as being available 24/7 in the wifi router’s manual, only for it to ring for five minutes and then suddenly disconnect. I tried calling again during regular business hours and got an employee who told me to reset the router (which I had already tried before calling) and call back if I had any more difficulities and then abruptly hung up. Of course this didn’t work, so I tried calling again and after a few rings I was sent to a voicemail box.
I am very frustrated. I am currently working from home, and I need wifi to do my job correctly. At this point I will likely be returning this product for something else.
P.S.
Oh and their supposed 24hour seven days a week customer service line? It’s actually 9am-6pm PST. I hope that knowledge saves someone from fruitlessly waiting on hold after hours.
Update 7/7/2020:
This wifi router suddenly started working right before I went to initiate the exchange process. I’m still not sure why it initially wasn’t working or why it suddenly started to work as it had been sitting untouched for hours. It works great now. It’s perfect for me and my small (700 sq ft) apartment, although the connection is a little weaker at the farthest point from the router. Considering how cheap it was, I am pleasantly surprised.
After my initial one star review posted I was contacted multiple times by representatives of the company to see if they could help me/convince me to remove my review (they seemed more concerned about the second part). I’m upping the number of stars because the product does work now, but my initial review still stands. I hope the company is able to use this feedback as a sign they need to hire more employees in a customer support role and/or improve their phone system.
Also please stop calling me. I’ve told you I don’t need help anymore, and it’s weird to badger someone about a single review.

If you just need a quick router for a couple of devices in a relatively small area this is great! It was super easy to setup, although you can’t use the app you have to just go to the online dashboard, and it has lots of customizable features. Parental controls, multi-ssid, and port forwarding. Great router for travel or small rooms. Not the fastest, but I had peak speeds of about 50mbps, which might have been limited by the hotel.

Purchased Tenda N301 to use as Repeater for ACT Fibrenet and it is easy to setup as Universal Repeater mode and works fine. Just that range could have been better, but okay it can be used for medium size house. Good at this price.

As a very tech savvy person, I buy internet hardware for work and do work things with them, but indirectly I am also testing home routers under very heavy loads (think +30 4K TVs type loads). While this router is under $20, I also test with routers +$360 (18x the price of this), so here is what I see that is good and bad about this device:
Pros / Where I would use it: IF you need something for 5-10 internet devices in a small space and aren’t really expecting to do any manual network configuration/tweaks and plan to just have a Wi-Fi and use this out of the box, go ahead and get this.
Cons: When this thing is under some heavier loads or just a lot of different Wi-Fi devices that want to connect to it (+30), it doesn’t seem capable to handle more then 20 when there’s no load and 14 under stressful loads. So for a non tech person, what I am saying is that if you had a bunch of kids all trying to watch YouTube at the same time with their cellphones, expect this to fail when you have +10 ish, but if you want to simply have some Wi-Fi in a small space and you’re not doing much with your internet connection, this will probably work.
I will say that my largest complaint about this device is the randomness of the dropped connection to some Wi-Fi clients, BUT, I am also not your average person using this.

It works great with Spectrum. A little glitchy at first setup but once things connected everything was smooth. I got maximum bandwidth at the far end of the property where it used to get 1/3 of the speed with an older Linksys1900ac router.
Also it can connect all my IoT and won’t drop any devices, so far only 18, but can connect up to 64.
Totally happy with this $50 purchase. The newer one cost twice as much but a waste since not many devices are 6GHz capable.

The range is wonderful and the wifi works as expected.
There is a bug in this unit that has it not working on the 5ghz band in the early mornings. Had to manual reboot each morning. Not optimal!
There are issues that needed resolving.
1) Reboot at 3-4 am – Setup a maintenance reboot to occur at this time so it would reset the unit during the time it usually stops working. This works but hit and miss.
2) Get wifi analyser so you can tune the 5GHz band. I found that this thing was competing non stop against the auto bands it sets it to. I found a open area in the band and set it to 100 which cleaned up the 5GHz band and weird…..this solved the issues first stated above.
Fast forward. I have not had to manual reboot or manage the unit since finding the opening in the band via the analyser. Such a win because this is so much cheaper than any other unit.

El vendedor es atento y responsable, el producto llegó antes de la fecha establecida y en excelente estado.
Después de varias semanas el dispositivo no ha tenido bloqueos, la frecuencia 5G trabaja excelente, tiene buen alcance, es compatible con 160hz y tambien con los canales WIFI apartir del 100, lo cual es muy útil en lugares donde hay varias redes inalámbricas y se quiere reducir las interferencias, pero la frecuencia de 2.4 no tiene mucho alcance y con el tiempo se va volviendo lenta o se satura muy rápido, lo cual se soluciona al reiniciar el dispositivo. La aplicación para el móvil es muy útil, sobre para todo para los usuarios que requieren verificar el funcionamiento y no se encuentren en el sitio.
Te recomiendo el dispositivo si lo vas a usar en un hogar mediano y no requieras extender señal WIFI, ya que con una última actualización se activo esta función, pero no funciona muy bien.

This router was fairly easy to set up as a repeater to get a better WiFi signal to the patio, though the instructions that came with it didn’t show how to do it – had to look up online. Instructions are a bit poorly translated from Chinese, but not terrible. It’s small enough to hide behind some stuff on a counter inside near the patio, and the signal has been good. For the size and price, it’s a good deal and works well. Worth it for a good repeater/range extender for your WiFi.
