This was an arse to assemble, there’s the instructions book and a QR code to take you to a video on how to assemble it in different ways. The videos are too quick for me, I had to watch the video a dozen times to get it right. Frustrating but at least I left a few strands of hair left on my husband’s head ๐๐๐ผ. It came with a small bag of 14mm size gumballs, I wanted more so I found the 14 mm size gumballs, Double Bubble. Nice big bag just right for the gumball machine. Have to keep twisting it until a gumball comes out. But be careful that you don’t break it. Twist it one way and another to get one completely out. Sometimes it works with a few twists in one direction. The rest of the things I put into a ziploc bag to keep them in one place and easy to find. 4 stars because it was challenging for me and seems like it will break easily if not cautious. In the end, it turned out well and was fun to play with. I did the pinball so my daughter is having fun and sharing everyone’s gum๐๐๐ผ.

Thank goodness I got this on sale. Not well. Seemed fun to learn physics but poorly made. Gumballs get stuck consistently in the shoot. Hard to assembly. Directions are soo lengthy. Better options out there.

The side pieces are hard to put in place. Once assembled the gumball still falls off the track. I wasn’t very satisfied with this product.

Love this! Got it for my son for Christmas, but I did open it to check the pieces and ensure everything was there. Great instructions and easy and simple set up. Can’t wait for him to play with this.

This was a great gift for kids to put together with the help of an adult but they loved that they could switch up how the gum ball dispensed.

This product is absolutely garbage. The gimbals get stuck in the top turning mechanism( which comes pre assembled). If the gumball makes its way out, itโs totally deformed and the top colour has tuned into powder. If it doesnโt come out, you have to take out all the gum balls to release the one that is stuck.
The domino feature does not work. This machine is not wort $60. This is a dollar store product at best. Very disappointed

Idea is great but just not well made.

My son loves marble runs and looking at gumball machines when we pass by it at a local restaurant. Since he was two, he loved his marble runs, and weirdly called his marble runs a gumball machine (not sure why). So when I saw this, I thought it was perfect!
Unfortunately, it didn’t work out as well. The actual pieces are hard to configure. You’re pulling or pushing the plastic pieces onto pegs while wondering if it’s going to break. I studied the instructional pamphlet and kept wondering what I was doing wrong.
There was a question on whether it can be used with marbles. Technically, it can and does, but some of the tricks don’t work as well. That can also be a part of the lesson – using different types of “gumballs” to see what works. The marbles are too heavy for some of the tricks (or maybe we just put it together wrong).
One issue we had with the domino slide – the tiny pieces just wouldn’t stay on. I noticed that they were different shapes, so we played with the order of the pins but it didn’t seem to help. Pinball launcher broke after the third set up. That became another lesson, looking at the pieces, figuring out where it broke and how to fix it. (We glued it back together and it works again).
We use it with our marble runs now. We have it sitting on a shelf and build the marble run below it. My son loves turning the gumball machine crank, go through a few of its tricks, and have the marble drop into the marble run.
At the time that we bought this, I tried to view it on youtube but kept seeing the same promotional video over and over again – so that didn’t help. I do see new video uploads by Thomas Wetzel added here, which is absolutely helpful! Watch that while starting and it will help. Unfortunately, my son and I had to learn the hard way.
Overall, even though it wasn’t easy to put together – some plastic pieces broke and some tricks didn’t work, my son loved it and we used it as a learning exercise. Why didn’t some tricks work, would it work better this or that way? If we attached this here, what would happen?

Not worth the price, reasons follow:
1- it has edible gum-balls which are soft and gets stuck in the machine.
2- gum-balls leave color on kids hands
3- assembly is not easy instructions are not clear
4- build quality of the machine is good but major elements i.e gum-balls are edible and soft.

its very complicated to put together for a child
