Based on the age rating on the box (7+ w/ help, 10+ I got this), I thought my twin 9 year olds would be able to participate heavily in the assembly… no way. To start, There are so, so many pieces to pop out of the molds. My husband is a super Mr. Fix it at home and at work, he’s the go- to for anything broken. He had to watch YouTube videos to construct these and it took about 2 hours for him to finish the first one. The second was about 45 minutes, having just done the first it was easier. I would not recommend this. The boys couldn’t really participate in assembling and have not played with them hardly at all since they got them.

Great for gifting, there are some steps that may require an adult. The pieces need to be cut out and burs removed from edges and that requires sharp scissors or a blade depending on age that may require assistance. The hydronic components also require lubrication and precision cutting of tube. Overall it’s not very difficult and it’s fun and silly as a toy that you can have fun with for awhile. The instructions include stories that are fun for kids too. Definitely recommend

After reading the reviews on difficulty level I decided to get this for my 16 year old. He is very good with putting things together and this took him about 6 hours to assemble over a few days. He (gently) used a power drill because the screws were too difficult to do manually. It is a great gift for an older kid that likes to build but would not recommend it for the ages listed in the description. He enjoyed it, it was challenging enough without being overly frustrating and not so easy that he was done with it in no time. It is a very cool hand and works really well!

Muy bueno es el juguete. Unico que si nos costo mucho trabajo a armarlo, pero valio la pena, la mano salio super padre, los dedos se mueven y si se puede agarar las cosas. Unico que si, hay que armar super quidodasomente, pero se puede desarmar y armar a nuevo en caso hay un error. Fuimos afuera, y todos niños quedaron bocaabierta.

I can’t believe, after it done, it actually can hold thing very sturdy. all five fingers works very flexible. I would give it 5 stars. However, one of the piece broke, so I have to order the second one just for my 8years old boy to have that little piece. It might just because he didn’t do it right the first time. He love it a lot. So he want the “fight guy” toy . Be honest, that one better, I would give 10 stars for that.

The instructions were easy to follow, very clear and direct. It was an exciting challenge for my 10-year-old, and also intriguing to my five-year-old and 13-year-olds. The hand has proven to be simple to fix when used with too much force. Its been a great activity for my kids encouraging their creativity & expanding their desire for STEM learning.

My 8 year old grandson picked it as gift because he loves complicated ones and has mastered even the most complicated ones. This one is very hard to build and he did it, however, may be too hard for child under 8.

My son was really excited to get this for christmas. It was a little hard than we thought i was going to be to build. The pieces were still attached to another plastic so every piece had to be detached. It also had tiny screws that were difficult for my son to do on his own. His father helped him with the project a lot. It was nice bonding time but still a pain.
