The Art of War Graphic Novel is a beautifully illustration version of Sun Tzu handbook for military strategy. The book is interestingly wrapped – it looks like a hard bound book, but when you look at it more closely, youโll notice that the book is actually a paperback book that has a hardbound front and back cover. The spine of the book is also double wrapped with a thin red cotton rope. Itโs a small detail, but itโs very attractive and unique looking, and definitely adds to the overall outer appearance of the book.
The illustrations and written adaptation of the book is very well done. It was interesting for my son to read and the adaptation made it much easier for him to understand and digest the teachings. While there are some images of soldiers being dispatched in the book, it wasnโt overly graphic – it was actually much more subdued that most superhero comics available today. That said, there are instances where you will see blood spatter/blood on weapons, so be aware if your kids are reading this book. The entire book consists of 127 pages and is a relatively quick and enjoyable read, if youโre interested in military strategy. Overall, if you enjoyed The Art of War, or are looking to get an easier to digest version of the book, this is a great graphic novel to read.

Great teaching tool for developing young strategic thinkers. Ancient principles and timeless wisdom. Artwork is skillfully illustrated, exciting and fun. Teenager loved it. I knew he would though.

Still relevant many centuries later.

Wonderful interpretation of this classic text. A great reference to refer to. The Art of War is one of those books that appears simple, yet will take time to really digest and apply into life. Having a written copy and now a graphic version does make the occasional need to refer to a chapter a little quicker and a easier during a hectic life.

The book is not worth the money! And itโs not as much not fun as expected. I had purchased this as a gift for my nephew but when I looked into the book it seemed a joke in the price of โน1500/- (inclusive of delivery charges). The hard bound is also a sham! It looks completely loss of money as far as content and material is concerned.

โ One picture is worth ten thousand words.โ This book is great introduction to the complete text.
Charles Volchansky –
Graphic novels serve a purpose even for those who are not interested in their mainstream variants. They illustrate a literary classic in such a way that one is better capable of understanding. That purpose is accomplished here. This is one of the more definitive copies of the Art of War. Highly recommend.
Bruno Carleston –
I think the book itself might work for teens but the graphic novel sold many of the points. Great purchase.
Ryan Steenson –
I didnt realize it would be in story format. I already own a small copy of this but this was a different take.

Good to read side-by-side with the text of Sun-Tsu…|

Enjoy the new book. I have to enjoy reading military science books, including various theories, and especially Sun Tzu, his view about the concubine he killed impacted his leader’s ( King Ho-Lu of Wu’s ) warfare game against the Leached King, who once ruled the trading before Genghis Khan took over his empire and have his concubines’ plan layout through every skill to the survival of all or none carefully and got erased by Genghis Khan upset King Ho-Lu of Wu led himself commanded his army to get Sun Tzu’s hands, and feet chopped off because of mistakes Sun Tzu made and forced him to live as a disabled oral military teacher at his mid-age. Good drawing matches Sun Tzu’s visions of how should be handled at the level of elementary, skips many about King Ho-Lu of Wu’s response to his decisions. ****I can imagine the artist will do a hella good job drawing King Ho-Lu of Wu reacting in graphic art.
