A couple of the fourth season episodes are a -wee- bit repetitive (rehashing some of the same themes from the 1st three seasons) but that’s no reason to skip, it’s still mostly great.

Hi everyone I thought it was great having 6 kids and mother & father on this T.V. show. It reminds me of my family that we had 13 kids when we were young. I enjoyed watching it and there isn’t anything wrong with The Brady Bunch T.V. show. I love it Francine. Season 1-4 nothing wrong with any of there T.V. show.

Okay, das ist jetzt keine Bewertung der Folgen (die ich gesehen habe sind gut), die Qualität des Transfers ist nicht besonders, aber geht so zum anschauen. Extras gibt es keine.

Diese DVD ist die komplette 4. Staffel von “The Brady Bunch”. Sie ist ein US-Import mit dem Regionalcode 1!
Ich habe bereits die ersten beiden Staffeln gesehen, jedoch nicht die dritte. Deshalb war ich sehr erstaunt wie groß die Kinder schon geworden sind, besonders Cindy und Jan.
In dieser Staffel reisen die Bradys nach Hawaii, Marcia geht auf die Highschool, Alice zieht aus (und kehrt wieder zurück), Marcia verliebt sich in einen Zahnarzt und Greg hat ein neues Zimmer auf dem Dachboden. Ich kann nicht sagen, dass diese Staffel besser ist als die ersten beiden, aber auf jeden Fall genauso witzig. Cindy und Bobby machen kaum noch niedliche Bemerkungen wie am Anfang.
Es ist eine sehr schöne Kinder-/Familienserie.

The Bradys just keep on movin’, keep on groovin’, keep on doin’ it right. By season four the Brady Bunch crew had got the magical formula down and was churning out one groovy television classic after another. Not only is season four the best of the later seasons, including the memorable performance by the Brady band “The Silver Platters,” but the episodes included in this run almost read as a “Brady best-of” list. If there is a hall of fame for three part television episodes, this season’s opener would easily be among the top five. The “Bradys Abroad” formula seemed to be so successful after season four’s two-part opening trip to the Grand Canyon, the gang was able to pack it up and head to Hawaii. The Hawaii trip has it all; a family trip to the USS Arizona, Greg’s Surf contest, a family Luau, the mysterious tiki idol, and guest appearances by b-horror staple Vincent Price and Hawaiian idol Don Ho. After the tropical vacation it’s back to school. In order to fit in, Marcia the freshman signs up for every after-school activity on campus including the elitist “Boosters.” Greg’s love life gets complex when he discovers his girlfriend and sister are both in competition for the coveted head cheerleading spot, and he is the judge! Love strikes Marcia too, who falls in love with her dreamy dentist, only to be crushed by Jan’s news that he is married with children. Never one to rest on the rebound, Marcia lands a date with Doug the campus hero only to have her heart ripped out once again when the boys break her nose with an errant flying football. Then there’s Peter who has to play Benedict Arnold in the school play and is suddenly on the receiving end of his peers’ snide remarks calling him a traitor. And in the classic season finale Greg and Marcia battle it out to see who gets to move out of the kids’ bedroom and into their own space in the attic. Corny, yet cool, dated, yet timeless, vanilla as is comes, but still mesmerizing, The Brady Bunch – The Complete Fourth Season is the season that most people will identify as quintessential Brady.

Es hat zwar fast 2 Monate gedauert, bis es endlich hier war, aber dann war ich so froh, dass ich sie endlich in den Händen hatte! Denn mit dieser hatte ich dann alle Staffeln beisammen! Es ist seit meiner Kindheit immer wieder eine sehr unterhaltsame, herzerwärmende, lustige Serie mit sehr liebenswerten und talentierten Schauspielern wie auch bei der Partridge Familie!

it has amazing classic episodes that really defined the show such as…
Season 5 was..to say the least..awful, so i bought the first 4 seasons and left it at that, if they had ended on this season they would have ended on a high!
my only complaint to this series is the 3 part season opener..
the family goes to hawaii and the first of the 3 episodes is typical brady humour just in a different location! the next 2 episodes is where it goes abit wrong as they make the storylines too surreal and not brady like at all!
this is the season when Maureen McCormick (Marcia) and Barry Williams (Greg) started dating in real life so its always fun to watch the episodes are try and spot little glances between them!
all in all its a great season, 23 episodes of pure brady fun that never get old!

I have really enjoyed watching season 4 of The Brady Bunch! This DVD brings back so many great memories of this show. Some of my favorite episodes were: the 3-part trip to Hawaii (guest starring Don Ho), Cyrano De Brady (Peter falls in love with a girl who’s in love with Greg), Fright Night (the boys scare the girls, the girls scare the boys, then they all try to scare Alice), The Show must Go On?? (Marcia and Carol sing a duet and Greg and Mike do that so memorable performance of The Day is Done), Love and the Older Man ( Marcia’s in love and day dreams she becomes Mrs. Marcia Dentist), Greg Gets Grounded (Greg and his exact words and the frog jumping contest), The Great Earring Caper (Cindy loses Carol’s earrings and it’s Detective Peter to the rescue), You’re Never Too Old (the kids try to play match maker for Carol’s Grandmother and Mike’s Grandfather. Florence Henderson and Robert Reed also play the Grandparents), and many other great episodes!
It has been very difficult to find these later seasons of The Brady Bunch in video stores. Thanks to Amazon they can still be found for very reasonable prices.

This is quality TV that imparts both morals and ethics that you can let younger children watch and know that they will not be bombarded with Miley or anyone else acting inappropriately. This is good old fashioned family TV the way it should be. I can leave the room and feel safe when my 7 year old is watching the Brady family. This is TV that I and my wife grew up watching. It is safe and imparts a moral to the story as well. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to let their kids watch a clean TV show.
