Very pleased with the quality of this bag when received. Love the easy adaptability for a broad range of temp condition when packing just a single bag. I don’t trek / backpack camp, so not deterred by it being not as light or as compact as other options. Will let me grab just one bag, and be more comfortable if turns hot, as well as prepared for unexpected cold nights without having to bring a “spare” bag.

So full discloser, I’ve not actually had a chance to camp in this bag yet. But I will say that I believe this is your best value overall for a sleeping bag. You’re getting 3 bags in one. You can use the outer most layer for summer camping and in its 40 degree configuration it packs down super small. You’re covered in the shoulder months with the 20 degree configuration and in that state it also packs down very tight. On those cold nights when you need the full 5 degree configuration you still have a bag that will pack down to about the size of a basketball. In the 5 degree set up the inner layer creates a draft collar to keep warm air in. The inside of the bag is slick which I like b/c I like to be able to roll around inside the bag while keeping the insulation on top. A sleeping bag of this quality of any temperature rating will cost $200 or more and with the One Bag you’re getting 3 total sleeping bags for under $400.00. The stuff sack turns inside out and is fleece lined so you can stuff some clothes in there and make a pillow. It comes with a storage sack which allows the insulation to stay lofted while not in use. I gave it 4 stars because the zipper tends to stick and that can be a pain, and there’s no way to vent your feet on a hot night. All in all, if you just want one high quality bag that can do it all at a great price, I would highly recommend The North Face The One Sleeping Bag.

Haven’t tried it in cold weather yet, but this sleeping bag is great. Took the blue shell backpacking and it compacts well. Love how it is multifuncional and easily convertible (once you understand zippers). It is pricey, maybe consider the one that isn’t mummy shaped. But I think mine is worth it, quality.
