Cute story, fun book, and I like that the idea of the turkey trying out different disguises is somewhat repetitive (predictive, which is good for young kids). I use it with my students for speech-language therapy and it’s been great for working on picture description, sentence formulation, vocabulary, wh- questions, speech sounds, etc. I’ll definitely be pulling this book out every November!

I am trying to build up my son’s collection of Thanksgiving books. We have plenty for Easter, spring, fall, Halloween, and Christmas, but there are not as many that are specific for Thanksgiving. So I was happy to add this to the list. My son loves all of the silly disguises the turkey wears. We will definitely add more books from the Turkey Trouble series to our bookshelf.
