Le blu-ray est zoné et non lisible sur un lecteur européen, alors que ce n’est précis nulle part dans le descriptif !

I was ready for English sub titles but in setup there is a language option.
It’s a very slow starter. I was beginning to think I’d made a mistake in ordering it. But it does pick up the pace and gets quite intense. There isn’t any real sex or nudity here. There is some coarse language. And the scariness of the disaster. We ended up liking it quite a bit! Hope to see more.

I suggest you see The Wave first before you see The Quake so you can understand the fear the characters feel. Both movies are worth seeing. To see the movie in English you will need to read the subtitles. Don’t let that distract you from purchasing a movie definitely worth seeing. Well done.

The effects in this film are awesome. It’s the sequel to the film The Wave. The film follows a family after surviving one disaster only to go through another, but not everyone survives. There are subtitles, but it’s not hard to follow as there is minimal dialogue. If you love disaster movies this one is very realistic.

Fantastic follow up! Again, REAL characters and REAL drama! The first one was done so well, it’s a genuine pleasure to kinda, sorta watch the characters go through additional trauma….Norge alltid!

Do not be mislead into thinking you cannot watch this in English. A simple push of the “set up” tab on the main menu allows you to pick the English dubbed version of the film just like the previous film The Wave. The movie itself is amazing and a very worthy follow up to the first film. You won’t be disappointed.

This may sound strange, but if you have seen “Wave”, there is no reason to see this movie; if you have not seen “Wave”, get it instead. “Quake” is the exact same movie as “Wave” except “Wave” had a few more scenes in it. It’s like they made two movies from the exact same script. The dialogue and scenes are all the same.

The grim sequel to The Wave, in which our hero didn’t survive the disaster, he simply took it home to live with him. It took over his life. It separated him from his family. He became obsessed with the fear that it could happen again and how can he predict it…only to be told that “we can’t live in constant fear. We can’t govern nature.” And then warnings from a dead man activates him into action.
The abrupt ending annoyed me. But other than that it’s an ‘almost’ excellent film.
