I really like this PSU. I have peace of mind that my system has more than enough clean power.
The Gigabyte Arous Pro’s have rock solid VRMs, and 750 watts of gold rated power is more than enough with plenty of head room for future upgrades and additions.
PSU runs silent, all voltages are rock solid during stress tests at full load.
Modular is great for cable management, especially with my build and a total of 8 RGB fans (2 in push/pull on cooler) it can get a little crowded, but only installing the power cables I need helps a great deal and my PC is the cleanest looking I’ve ever built.
Definitely recommend this PSU.
Update 10/28/2021: So now I’m running this PSU with the Gigabyte Aorus X570 Master Rev 1.2 board and a Ryzen 7 5800X. Had no issues with it whatsoever in the last year and a half. Good PSU.

New case, motherboard and PSU to refurbish an old pre-built PC from Dell. Reused the CPU, GPU and RAM memory. The new motherboard and the extra capacity of the The Toughpower GF1 750W PSU will allow me to upgrade to a better/newer CPU, GPU and RAM combination in the future.

This beast is quiet and powerful. The power supply is beyond sufficient to hold up a Meta Quest and 3060Ti 12GB. The cables are shielded but not clunky, very easy to install, such a Great buy!

This PSU did not work. I purchased it to replace an older PSU of the same brand that is starting to fail and this one would not even power on my PC and I ended up putting the old PSU back in my system and will be returning this one for a replacement as it is defective. It would only turn the lights on my Motherboard but would not allow my PC to boot up.

Let me be clear, this PSU does what it needs to do. I like the size, the power comsuption efficiency, the surge protection feature, the power on-off togle switch, the fact that it’s fully modular and it fitted the case nicely. But my problem, which I suppose coud be the same in other mid tower cases, is in the design of the SATA power cables, or perhaps the combination of that design and that of the Corsair 110R Tempered Glass case placement of the “cage” with the 2 HDD bays and the 5.25″ ODD bay on the top front of the case. Each SATA power cable that came with this PSU have three conectors for SATA drives, but the distancing between the first one and the third one made it imposible, once the first was connected to the HDD, to reach the ODD with the second or third connectors . Hence, instead of using a single cable for both the HDD and the ODD, I had to use a second SATA power cable to reach the ODD. That made cable managment on the botom of the case, between the PSU and the HDD cage less efficient in terms of such a small space usage and neatness, plus it made difficult to organize the power cables in there as to then easily run them through the appropiate spaces on the plate that covers the motherboard’s backside, without making difficult to correctly place the case’s external side panel.

Building a new computer for my olders on I realized the power suppy we had was not going to work with his new case and motherboard, bought this one after doing a ton of research. It has modular plugs which is a massive bonus and it is VERY quiet, couldn’t be happier, great bang for the buck

I was having issues with my old power supply (purchased used). My whole computer was acting up. As soon as I replaced it with this thermaltake PSU, all the issues went away, even ones that I didn’t think were related to the PSU. It has been working reliably for me for the past few months without any issues. We will see how long it lasts but so far so good. Overall it was pretty easy to setup.

My old PSU kept crashing my pc under load so I decided to get this one. Installation was easy due to being modular. So far I have had no issues running with it.

unit runs great. highly recommend its extremely quite. even with fan running cant hear it. i went with 100 watts more then what i was recommended so fan might not even ramp up when i push my system. hard to tell with how quite it is
Update: well its been about a year and this thing is still going strong and silent. only issue i have with it is hard to find a custom cable maker that does thermal take. however i found out just today that the rgb power supplies that thermal take also make are exactly the same. a few do sell for those. i will purchase a set and test to verify before i say for certain or even before i power on my system. once done i will let everyone here know.

The power supply itself is good, however, I had some trouble with trying to disconnect the motherboard 24-pin cable from the power supply itself. I later found a solution that didn’t require me to do so, but if I had to disconnect it, it would have likely been impossible to do it.
But I understand that this is how PSUs are in general with those 24-pin cables being very finnicky.
Just know that if you plug it in, you might not be able to take it out without some extra tools (which I would not recommend using with a PSU).
Also makes a clicking noise when I turn it on/off, but some basic research suggests that this is a feature rather than a problem, still, I will monitor the situation.

Una increÃble experiencia durante el unboxing aunque los cables son un poco rigidos

It is making a terrible buzzing noise when I play games on it.
