Modular cables don’t connect in as solid a way as other PSUs, but it gets the job done. I would want a higher quality unit if I was gonna be making constant changes, but for a set and forget this is fine. I almost always use TT PSUs in my builds and have never had a problem with any of them.

I put it in a Cooler Master Elite 130 and it allows plenty of room for the Wraith Spire cooler that came with the Ryzen 2600X. Tiny little thing, but 600W and gold rated! Long warranty too.

This is a great power supply. Silent, small and efficient. The ATX wire is about 300mm, the CPU power wire is ~400mm.

Even though it’s says it’s ATX the cables are too short for an ATX case had to buy extensions. Cable length is not shown on box.

I have to assume this is for the most micro of computer builds, because the CPU and motherboard cables are both exceptionally short. Would have worked in my media center PC if the cables were 2-3 inches longer. Something that’s easily fixed with CableMod extensions, I guess… Still, seems like a nice, compact PSU. Mounted easily with the included hardware.

Dead on arrival. Next time, ill just buy a fan/case from them. This is a cheaply made PSU with cables that aren’t long enough to fit in a SFF Case or any case comfortably.

The power supply itself is great. Quiet, cool, and the smart fan technology that only runs the fan when it’s hot is amazing at keeping down the noise. I noticed an immediate, huge difference in sound.
The reason I’m giving it only 3 stars is the included cables. They are cheaply made with no sleeves, the connectors break easily, and they are VERY SHORT. Each cable is less than a foot long. Absolutely useless for everything but the smallest of mini-ITX cases. Even my mini-ITX case, the Fractal Nano S, is way too big for the cables to reach the motherboard. I had to re-use the cables from my old EVGA power supply. If I were building a new PC with this, I would probably have had to send it back and bought a different brand.
Thermaltake needs to include some decent cables. The ones included are almost useless.

I’m not sure why so many people are hating on this PSU. The form factor is nice, the fan is a welcome bonus, and the cables do click into place! (Many reviews mentioned this as an issue, but even with a small amount of pressure, there is an audible click to confirm your connection.)
It is quiet and mostly inaudible. Another thing I saw mentioned a lot was how short the cables were… this is an SFX POWER SUPPLY. This is meant for smaller builds, meaning smaller cases, smaller motherboards, everything. If you are looking for added length, buy a different psu, but if this is the form factor you need, amazon sells elegant, sleeved, extension cables that don’t cost an arm and a leg. If anything, you’ll just have a sleeker looking pc with pretty cables, rather than the standard plastic these come with. Again, standard, nothing unusual for many psu manufacturers.

With all the information coming out because of the introduction of the new series of CPU and GPU we have lost sight of what is actually the largest segment of the market. Most people don’t need 1000/1200 watt PCIe 5.0 power supplies, nor should they waste their money buying them. The numerical largest version selling video card is now the 3060 ti and for that card, a power supply pushing that wattage is just a waste. We try to match a card/computer with its largest necessary wattage and add a 15-20% safety factor. We also like to use SFX power supplies whenever possible simply because it gives more room to install and locate cables. This particular power supply is one of our favorites and we probably use 4-5 of them each month.

Perfect for ACTUAL small form factor ITX builds. Im currently using it for my Ncase M1 and the cable length is perfect, any longer and it would be significantly more difficult to manage. Compare this use case to others whos chassis are clearly not meant for reduced cable length. Solid performing PSU at a great price as well, id absolutely recommend if youre building in a truly small form factor computer.
