A. Rose –
These strings began to unravel after only 2 months of moderate use. Also some of the ball ends were wound too thickly to fit. I had to unwind the bottom myself. I think they might be fakes because the more expensive Thomastik strings have not deteriorated this quickly.
Jinfeng –
Nice strings. They were recommended by my daughter’s violin teacher. I bought them a month ago and are still in perfect shape.
Joe Btsfplk –
best value high quality violin strings. Not for beginners and not top of the top, but very nice sound.

What to say. These strings are pretty good value for the price and quality. Happy customer
M. Kern –
Sounds so much better than old strings
Carmen Lowry –
Excellent price and just what we needed for our daughters violin.

T. Zee –
Great sound, been using for years. Also recommended by violin teacher.

With an easy playability, a balanced sound, rich tone, good projection, and great tuning stability, these are the strings we always end up coming back to. They aren’t the most durable strings in the world, it’s true. They last on the bottom end of the average for how long strings typically last (120-130 playing hours.) But they’re just better than others we have had, and there’s a reason these are the strings others are compared to.
ELISABET SENDON –
Colocamos la cuerda La y en la siguiente afinación partió por la bola. Cosa inusual.

Title: Exceptional Tone and Quality Craftsmanship
I recently upgraded my 3/4 size violin with the Thomastik-Infeld 135B.34 Dominant Violin Strings Set, and the difference in sound quality has been nothing short of remarkable.
The first thing that struck me was the warm and rich tone produced by these strings. They offer a full-bodied sound with excellent projection, making my violin truly come alive. The Dominant series is known for its versatility, and these strings live up to that reputation, delivering equally well in classical, folk, and contemporary genres.
The craftsmanship of these strings is evident from the moment you start playing. The materials used are of the highest quality, and the winding is impeccable. The strings are also responsive and easy to play, allowing for nuanced expression and dynamic range. The responsiveness to bowing techniques and finger articulation is particularly noteworthy, enhancing the overall playing experience.
One of the key advantages of the Thomastik-Infeld Dominant series is their quick settling time. After the initial stretching period, these strings stabilized remarkably fast, allowing me to enjoy their optimal performance sooner than expected. This is a significant convenience for musicians who want to achieve their desired sound without a prolonged break-in period.
Additionally, the durability of these strings is impressive. They have proven resilient to changes in temperature and humidity, maintaining their tone and playability over time. This longevity adds to the overall value, considering the investment in high-quality strings.
While the Thomastik-Infeld 135B.34 Dominant Violin Strings Set is priced at a premium compared to some other options on the market, the exceptional tone, craftsmanship, and durability make them well worth the investment for serious musicians. Whether you’re a professional or a dedicated student, these strings can elevate the performance of your 3/4 size violin to new heights. In my experience, they have become an essential component of my setup, and I highly recommend them to anyone seeking top-tier violin strings.
