This rack looks really good and sturdy. I havenโt used it with my bags on a trip yet but I think it could handle about twenty pounds on each side safely. There was no way for me to attach a rack to my seat post so I had to get this one almost three times as expensive as others with less capacity too, but it works for me. Because of the design, all the weight will be on two rounded pipes, so avoid too much weight. Also the initial assembly was a pain. But it all turned out great so far. I may update after our 100 mile trip.
New: During the trip one of the clamps got loose and the whole rack slid down ending in touching my tire. After opening everything including bags and all and remounting everything again in the middle of the trip, we didnโt have any other issue.
The clamps are hard to mount and needs a better design.

I don’t like to overpay for fancy luggage racks, but for my bike (a dirt jump because I’m short) this is the only option short of drilling holes. It is a bit tricky to install and watching their video a few times helps. reading the manual a few times helps, too. Swedes are not big into text instructions – the manual looks like ikea. Don’t tighten all the way before you get all the alignment and level the platform. Surprisingly, my large $1 Ikea clearance bike bag fits perfectly without buying the side attachment. I like that this rack can be moved to virtually any bike. The only thing is that I wish it can carry heavier stuff. I’m very happy with it so far.

Look, it kind of holds up, it’s easy to install, but for a few reasons it’s not worth the price. I can only guess that the manufacturer was expecting only a few people to actually want this type of tour rack, so they just kind of had an intern draw something up and they micromanaged the crap out of the design phase in order to get done. They then jacked the price up to give the rack the appearance of a quality product to compensate for it’s poor design.
That said, the construction is lightweight, but the materials are really cheap. The composite rack platform is just bad looking, like something that would come on a child’s bicycle or something. The positioning arms that come with the tour rack are also chrome plated (why?) and are made of really thin cheap-looking steel. Both the radius bent structural rods that form the side and weight-bearing portion of the rack, and the keyed nylon webbing securing mechanisms are the only components that look like they were designed well with the end-user in mind.
The chrome, steel grey, and flat black color combination appears to have been designed to look as bad as possible, while still maintaining brand identity. I can’t think of any color frame that would look good with this strapped onto it. All in all — it works, but only because there really aren’t any other racks like it on the market.

Worth the money fits like a charm very sturdy

Easy, solid mounting. Lets me bounce down trails, buy groceries and head home. I am often teased about bike racks on my bikes. Forget the rules. Iโm keeping this on my bike
David A. Brenner –
mounted very well to my bicycle, make sure you use the allen key provided to lock the straps tight so it doesnt move. Only issue i have with it is that even with the 3 different length arms included, I still couldnt get the right angle to level it. Need to make my own.

Got this rack for my travel bike so I can take it off and on when packing bike in travel bag. It works as expected and I can put my trunk back on it to carry all necessities on longer rides vs. using a backpack. One thing I didn’t like is the ratchet screws use hex key and there is no easy way to get one in there with more than a quarter turn UNLESS you use the ball end hex keys. Any cheap set will do the job and well worth it. Speeds installation and removal by noticeable difference.
The rack itself is sturdy and stays put. I’m happy with my choice. Just did four 100k rides in a week with it and not one issue.

The rack arrived with mismatched struts (two lefts, no rights). The side panels were necessary to work at all. The attachment points require the use of a special key to remove or adjust. The adjustment bolts both face inward toward each other, making adjustment difficult. I had to fashion an extra strut across the back to stabilize the rack. The plastic tab to hold a rear light snapped off right away. The side panels aren’t sufficient to keep the panniers from rubbing and wearing. Bolts constantly work themselves out.
Way too expensive. Both main struts snapped off during a ride on a dirt road, leaving me stranded 82 miles from any succor. Bottom line: worst rack I’ve ever had.

Good quality product. I wouldnโt recommend for heavy loads. Little bit on the expensive side.
