This range hood looks very nice and feels nicely done with stainless steel material. The fan is not noisy (55 db) and has 3 speeds. The light is a LED one that is bright enough and does not consume a lot of energy. The chimney look makes it appear more expensive than it is. Another convenient thing is the stainless steel filters that can go in the dishwasher, I find that practical. If you are looking for this type kitchen exhaust fan, this model is elegant and affordable for the quality it offers, so I can recommend it for sure.
Very nice for the price point –
I can’t comment on the actual installation process since our contractor installed it as part of a reno we were doing for our basement kitchen. The fan is decently quiet on the lower power settings, but does get a bit loud on level 3, which I guess is to be expected. The suction is ok, but could definitely be improved and is not as strong as I had hoped…not quite sure it is truly 450cfm, but it does the job. The 5 push buttons are simple to use. Off (0), Speed 1, 2, 3 and last button on the right is for the light. The one thing I really don’t like about this range hood is the light. I prefer WARM white light versus COOL white light and the lights are positioned all the way at the back of the hood so doesn’t light up the front cooking area enough in my opinion, which is where I need the light the most. For these 2 reasons, I took away a star. Overall this 36” Range Hood from Tieasy does look very nice after installation, is modern, clean and sleek. Although it is not perfect, for the money at $259.98 plus a $20 off coupon at the time of this review, it offers good value for a 36 inch range hood, does the job, and elevates the look of the kitchen. To note….you will need some patience to get all the blue plastic protection off.

Had a slight issue with the protective film. However the fan works great and looks great. Easy to install. The seller did address the protective film with me. They are very professional and helpful. I would recommend

We had ours installed by contractors who installed it but didn’t finish it properly. They never added the set screws at the base of the hood covering and they just used silicone to attach the top part to the wall. At this point, we only have half of the cover on and would love any support that we can get to attach it to the wall.
The vent hood is not great for our larger stove, in retrospect, we should have gotten one that came out farther. We’re happy enough with it but would only install this in a smaller kitchen for an in-law suite or a smaller rental.
The lights are super white and a chilly color but not a huge deal (I prefer warmer colored lights) and can easily be replaced.
We LOVE washing the filter in the dishwasher and it’s our #1 selling point on this hood.
This review is 2 years after we purchased it and we’re hoping to get in touch with the seller so that we can get support with hanging the rest of the cover back up.

I bought this for my mother’s home to add to the ever growing list of upgrades needed for her home. Right now, it’s an older style house from I want to say at least the 70’s? So it’s cozy, but needs some modern amenities for a while now. We installed this to replace the bulky, and also non-functional, microwave that was over the stove. All that really worked was the low light and the vent (occasionally) so we opted in for a modern range to fix both of those issues. Install was straightforward and removal of the microwave + unwrapping the range took exponentially longer than actually installing it. There are a few brackets in place you need to install, plus s et of screw holes within the unit towards the back to give it that added security. With two adults, I’d say this took less than 15 minutes or so in terms of installation. The parts included were all brand new, no scuffs or tears to the air duct either. The final front decorative piece is uninstalled for now as we need to remove the outdated cabinets. It still works as intended and is one step closer to making the home feel much more livable and sustainale.

Update to below: The manufacturer contacted me and provided a full refund. So at least they stand by their product. Still only giving it 3 stars as the hood has nowhere near the suction power needed for even basic cooking. But if your cooking doesn’t produce much smoke or steam, then it’s a good option as it looks really nice when installed with the low profile.

I should have never ordered this. It arrived fine with no damage to the box, but a few months later when I finally got around to installing it, there was a deep dent in the front of the unit. Had to have happened during manufacturing as there was no way to cause it during shipping. But they still sold it. And by the time I noticed it, it was too late to return. Then on top of that, the suction is terrible. Even at full speed and an open window 5ft away , it barely works. I’ll see steam go up and around the unit as if it’s not on at all! The ducting does a 90 degree bend and then right outside, so it’s not as if there’s any real airflow resistance in the exhaust either. While I have no way to measure the air flow, I could measure the motor load. The motor uses 77 watts at full speed. My replacement 450CFM hood uses more then double that at its lowest speed! So don’t waist your money and spend a little more for a hood that actually does what it’s supposed to, which is vent!

Bought this because it looked like what I wanted and was affordable.
Installation was a breeze, but the fan is either too weak or is under engineered.
Any smoke or fumes just happily go around the hood and fill the kitchen.
It almost pushed smoke away from itself.

I hired a contractor to remodel my kitchen entirely, so I needed new/modern appliances as part of the project. I purchased the range hood with LED display panel and mesh filters and what a great choice I made! I asked my contractor about his experience installing the hood and he said everything was clear and it took him less than an hour to install it and then another hour to test the duct/outside ventilation. The stainless steel is gorgeous and matched the other appliances I purchased separately. The operation of the hood is very good, considering I can change the speed fan and it will help me to remove the smell out of the kitchen without any issue. Further, the light of the hood is helpful when more illumination to the cooking area is required and cleaning the mesh filters after several uses is easy as well, considering they can either be hand-washed or placed in the dishwasher.
