As a dyed in the wool Timex fan, I have to say that this was the absolute worst watch I have ever owen made by them.
The indiglo stopped working after a month then the date stopped advancing 1 month after that and now today it stopped altogether.
I contacted Timex about the indiglo issue and they offered to fix it but I had to pay over 20 dollars for shipping to and from them. It wasn’t worth it.
After it stopped working today I threw it right in the garbage.
I’m sorry Timex but this go around it was awful. Maybe I just got a lemon but it will be a bit before I get another watch from you.

Always buy for my husbands work. They are durable but he usually breaks/wears out so keep buying every 3-4 years. He likes the indiglo as he works at night often

I’m approaching six decades on this planet, and while I certainly don’t know it all, I have come to believe that simple is often the best solution to many things in life. Watches are a good example of this. I’ve been through a number of watches in my lifetime, often getting seduced by fancy features and flashy designs that I never actually use and/or don’t really matter. What does matter in a watch is reliability, ease of reading, comfort, durability, and price. This Timex fits the bill on all of these factors. It’s just a good, simple, reliable watch that is reasonably priced. Definitely recommended.

Overall, love the watch. Looks and feels good, fits well on my wrist (I’m 6’1″with an average size wrist), and I can easily tell time in all manner of light (sun, dark, normal), with sunglasses on, without having to pull my phone out of my pocket or try to “get it at the right angle” as I did with fitbit. Also, love the band. I specifically bought this model because it had the fabric Fast Wrap strap with the Expedition insignia. Like the fact the band runs under the watch as it feels more comfortable, especially in cold weather. You don’t get that cold metal feel. Also the band design makes it much easier to connect versus a standard band which is equal length on both sides.
My only two minor issues, the face scratched very easily. Not even sure what I hit but noticed surface scratching which is minor and not really noticeable, but still annoying on a new watch. The other issue is something many people have mentioned, the second hand is pretty loud. As I’m typing this, I’m in my home office with no other sound and I can hear it clearly. Just mildly annoying occasionally but I still prefer this watch to digital any day.

This is a simple, analog, old school style of watch but, hey, I love it! The dial is easy to read and, dare I say (?), quite stylish in an outdoorsy way. The band I chose was velcro. It works wonderfully! The “light” is a great feature especially at night and in a low light environment. Hey, if you want a rugged, simple but stylish analog watch there is none better!
