When I received them I took them apart and inspected the pieces and put them together pleased with the workmanship, materials and construction.Good wood,no knots no seem splits.Metal furniture is good ,welds could have used some grind before chroming .Lugs and nuts are fine.Heads have some issues but they will work out.Macho was ruff and dry and hembre was not uniform like premium heads are.But I didn’t buy them to look at them. After applying some lanolin and coconut oil I for played awhile and did so frequently over 24 hours.I’m a happy guy, they will last longer then me.Toca makes good bongos .
