This Djembe sounds incredible. I use it all the time at worship groups and just get togethers with friends when we play music. It has such a deep bass when hitting the middle and a great pop on the edges. It is easy to tune and easy to get the sound where you like it. I highly recommend this Djembe especially for people that do smaller coffee shop shows or play in a 2-3 piece band.

Amazing drum, I’ve used this in everything from little local drum circles to on stage at festivals, perfect for open mics. It has an amazing booming base while retaining great edge notes, this drum is unmatched for its weight and price, fantastic purchase that you will not regret.

I can recommend the TOCA rope tuned drums, but stay away from these lug tuned ones. Spend the little bit extra and go for the MEINL ones instead. Those are really proper. My company does interactive drumming and we use these drums daily and they have let me down really badly. The lugs keep stripping again and again and once broke off completely almost taking my eye out in the process. Though they look good and sound good it’s really not great quality. Take my advice. Get the Meinl ones for lug tuned djembes.
