love this tool. this has become my go-to for getting the torque setting correct for those lower torque setting bolts where my big torque wrench wasn’t accurate enough or just too damn big. this is a must have especially if you have a lot of sexy sexy carbon.

I bought a bike with a carbon seat post and was fearful of over tightening the seat post clamp.
Turns out I was being way too cautious and was under tightening the binder bolt by quite a bit. Highly recommend this even if you don’t have carbon parts as it gives you the confidence to know you are tightening your equipment to manufactures spec.

Im not sure how well calibrated it is, but works well. Having carbon prats on my bike I’m always afraid to overtighten them (had stripped threads before too). So this thing is just grat to check if you’re not overtightening things

For the price you should have this at minimum for your bike. Without it I was not nearly torquing down screws on my saddle and seat post which caused damage and issues during rides.

I primarily purchased this torque wrench for a carbon fiber seat post, so the size wasn’t an issue for me. I think that it could be shorter, which would help with bottle cages etc., but for the price, it met my needs.

Ho acquistato questa chiave per fare lavori sulla bici. Non avevo intenzione di comprare una chiave dinamometrica “seria” per usarla 3-4 volte all’anno. E’ semplice, rifinita bene e con gli inserti (“bits”) che servono.

I like it. The specs say it’s accurate down to 3 Nm, but the scale is graduated down to zero so it’s a little unclear to me what the actual lower accuracy limit might be. Either way, I like that it’s simple and only for light torque, so I don’t have to buy more wrench than I need to for adjusting the small parts on my bikes. I trust that it’s reasonably accurate, being a beam-type wrench, but I haven’t endeavored to verify it.

Very well made, and surprisingly useful for correctly torquing items like lock-on handlebar grips, saddle mounting bolts, brake lever mounts, etc. Can’t say how accurate it is, but I would imagine it’s been very well tested. It’s easy to use. A bit of a pain if you’re tightening a bolt from underneath, though, as you have to crouch down to read the guage! (It can only be read from one side, as the plastic scale isn’t transparent). It comes with several different sized allen bolt ‘bits’ (3,4,5 & 6mm) plus a T25 torx bit, which are securely stored in the handle. I often use my own judgement to tighten bolts, but it’s still easy to under or over tighten them (especially with aluminium fitments!) if you’re not careful. For safety, I think one of these is well worth having, just for peace of mind. Good value for money, too. I’m very happy with it.

I’ve always gone to the local bike shop (LBS) to get my carbon fiber items adjusted and torqued, but I finally got wise and purchased this Topeak tool. I’m not sure how accurate this is compared to a “click-stop” or digital torque wrench, but I know it’s better than nothing and just guessing. It turned out that I was under tightening my seat post collar by almost 2Nm during assembly between transport!
Build quality is great, with magnetic bit-holder, resilient plastics, and well-machined metal pieces. With that in mind, if you are a home mechanic and service multiple bikes, I would invest in something more advanced.

Great tool for keeping grips, shift and brake levers snug on Carbon Bars. I use a “real” torque wrench for the bar clamps, but this would work fine in a travel kit. Good for brake parts too.
