I’m using this on two bikes with SRAM Force AXS DUB cranksets. Its solid and portable, and works much better than my previous portable stands that held the bike by the chainstay and seatstay.
My wife’s Orbea Gain ebike is 25 lbs. The stand has no problem with that weight.
Our pedals clear with plenty of clearance.
The stand comes with 2 plastic sleeves for different sized cranksets. The smaller one fits the SRAM Force AXS DUB crankset perfectly. There is a bolt and washer that holds the sleeve in place. For whatever reason, the washer is too large for the smaller sleeve, that is, the washer is too large to go in the DUB cranksets. Hey Topeak, that’s quite an oversight. I fixed it by using a rubber washer out of my plumbing supplies. I actually like the rubber washer better as it is not going to scratch anything inside the crankset.
You could just leave the retention washer off like the Feedback Sport Scorpion rack does, but I like it retained so I don’t loose it.
I also sanded down the end of the sleeve (shortened) a little so it would spin freely so as to not rub my crankset at all.
After those modifications I gave the product 5 stars. You can argue it is not 5 star as shipped.

Spindle is too large for my SRAM crank. Returned immediately and bought the Scorpion which converts for multiple diameters. Scorpion is priced better as well.

Nice bike stand with a minimalistic profile. After about 3 years, I broke my first one, probably from sitting on the bike while it was on the stand, but I like the sturdiness and form factor enough that I replaced it with the same stand. I perform maintenance, repairs, and even wash my bike on this stand. And if it breaks again in 3 years, I’ll probably buy another (but I don’t plan on sitting on my bike while on the stand this time 😅). It does mount through your crank and bottom bracket so be sure your bike can accommodate for that before purchasing.

Wow, this thing works great! If you have a hollow crank shaft, there is no need for a complex floor stand anymore. I use this at home, and take it to the trail to make mounting the front wheel a piece of cake 🙂

So if it’s such a good bike stand, why the low stars? My MTB has flat peddles and when the bike’s on the stand and when I’m lubing the chain and spinning the wheel, the peddles keep hitting the up bit of the stand. If the spike going into the bottom bracket was inch to half an inch longer this wouldn’t happen & the stand would get the 5 stars. Despite that issue, it’s still a good stand.

Amazon hat die Lösung einer kostenneutralen Rücksendung/Kaufpreiserstattung angeboten, da die Stand Halterung jedoch direkt an dem Tag der Anlieferung und am Folgetag zum mehrfachen Einsatz kam, stelle ich mir die Frage, wie hätte der Verkaufspartner auf die Anfrage der Kaufpreisminderung nach Einsatz reagiert, oder wie hätte man bei Amazon bei Rücksendung und Retourenbegutachtung reagiert. Um mir diesen Ärger zu ersparen habe ich den MX behalten. Fazit, viel Geld für einen optisch 2. Wahl Artikel.

The stand is pretty expensive – but it does work well. The sleeve I need for SRAM T-Type cranks fits perfect without the included washer – if you use the washer – it will not fit. This issue is due to the washer being larger than the diameter of the tube. If you choose to take the tube off, then there is a ton of slop when sliding into the crank. I went to my loose parts bin and found a slightly smaller diameter washer (see pic) and now it works and fits perfect. I like using this for working on top end stuff – I used it to change out my dropper post since I could not mount in the Park Repair stand.

This stand is pretty cool. Gives that moto feel to your bike. Only bad thing is the washer on the end was bigger than the smallest adapter so I had to get a smaller washer. For that and being slightly expensive I’m only giving 4 stars. Otherwise this is a 5 star item all day.

The stand is amazing for rear maintenance and washing. Saw it on berm peak and liked it. But my issue is with they chose to ship with. Canada post did a terrible job and gave me the runaround. Not sure if they chose them but if they did consider another maybe just my experience.

I’m writing this review mostly because I delayed getting this thing for SO LONG because there’s no real reviews out there on YouTube or otherwise. I got this because I don’t have the space for a full bike workstand at the moment, but still need to work on my bike. Also, I just use it to keep my bike upright and out of the way. The other reason I delayed purchasing this thing was the price – it seems a bit high for what it is. That said, now that I have it, it’s very stable and supports my bike well.
Things to watch out for: make VERY sure that you’ve measured the inner diameter of your hollow crankset before ordering – I used digital calipers, which read 20mm, but the default setup for the stand didn’t fit. Luckily, it came with a 19mm insert to swap to, and that DID fit. I would have been in trouble without the extra insert. Also, for some reason, there was a bit of rust on the bag that inside the box this thing came in, kinda weird but doesn’t seem to affect the product.
Things that are good: my bike is very stable on this stand, and I can spin the pedals freely – the stand doesn’t interfere with it. You can easily pack it flat when not in use (it breaks down into 2 parts and one mounts to the other), so it’s good for saving space.
Final verdict: If this were priced more like $35-50, I’d say it was a good deal if it fit your bike. I think, if Topeak could lower the price while also supporting more hollow cranksets, it’d be a better product.
