I don’t know it was my case manufacturer or my motherboard manufacturer the screw hole for the bracket is 3mm off so i had to do some Jerry rigging to get mounted in the pci slot. also if you don’t have a CD drive pre download the Drivers
Madison Johnson –
It was a fairly easy installation. I put it in the designated slot and powered up my computer. Put in the mini CD with the drivers and it worked nearly instantly. I had to shutdown the old integrated WiFi that didn’t have 5G. I also couldn’t use the Blue Tooth function because my motherboard had no place to plug it in. I’m pretty happy with it all in all. I don’t get cut off the internet every time somebody runs the microwave now. It also picks up the router better than the extenders I’ve tried.

Great product for my wifi needs. I have my computers on different levels of my house and once installed into my PCs, the internet for my fibre connection is very fast. Gaming has experienced no interruptions. Great product.

This WiFi card gives excellent internet connection and super-fast speeds, but sometimes the Bluetooth has issues that need fixing. Still, because of its great WiFi, it’s worth buying.

On the Asus Rog Hero IX it was installed in there is a heat sink and a bunch of capacitors all along the back edge of the MB. There was no way to get this card into any slot without trimming it’s board. I had to cut 2 nubs off the pcb, including one of the screw mounts, as well as the part of the back plate it threads into. I was going to return it but it looks like they all have more or less the same pcb, so I decided to cut it.
Once I got it seated the TP Link website sent me into a loop where it kept directing me back to the Canadian site, but that site didn’t have any links to the drivers. I eventually just hit the x on the redirect box and was able to download the drivers.
It was pretty smooth after that. Install went well. Seems to be working well. But overall a huge hassle.

If youโre looking to add Bluetooth to your build, please get this and not a dongle. Iโve tried a lot of different products at this point to solve this problem, and this is the only one that delivered the quality that that I was looking for. I have really good headphones, and all the dongles that I got diminish the quality of the audio. This thing was easy to install, obviously not easier than a dongle that you plug into USB but still easy. Itโs just a matter of fitting it into your build. Itโs a great price for the quality. The latency is not bad and I can walk to the other side of the house without the connection becoming distorted. The antenna look funny on the back of the tower.

I built my wife a PC and the motherboard had no bluetooth or wifi connectivity. I did have a dongle for the BT and a USB wifi connector, however, the usb connector wasn’t very reliable and the signal would frequently drop. I figured something attached directly to the MB would get connectivity and it seems like I was right. I hooked this up about and installed the drivers with no issue. I’m downloading files at a decent speed now and the bluetooth seems to be functioning well, although I haven’t tested it for long periods. If I have any issues I’ll come back and change my review, but so far so good.

I bought this primarily to finally add Bluetooth to my self built gaming PC that I’ve been slowly upgrading over the past 10 years. I am not sure why I never added a Bluetooth card, but I am so glad I finally did, even though I had some difficulties with installation.
First off, the large case bracket is too small for my case. I’m using an old NZXT Phantom full tower case and the bracket is *just* too small. Like we are talking maybe one or two millimeters too small. When installed and screwed in, the PCIe edge connector does not go far enough into the PCIe slot to make contact. I had to bend the bracket flat to allow the connector to seat fully and let me use the card. This has not been an issue on any of the graphics cards I used in the past or any other Wi-Fi card I’ve used, including ones from TP Link. I will have to figure out a way to modify the bracket so I can secure the card to the case so it doesn’t fall out if the PC gets moved.
Second, I have had a couple issues with the Bluetooth and my Keychron keyboard. Random keys will repeat and I have had a few keystrokes register from keys I didn’t press at all. I switch this keyboard between my Mac and my PC and have never had this issue on my Mac, so it surprised me when it started happening on my PC. It does not happen often, but when it does it is highly annoying.
The Wi-Fi itself is fast. And I mean FAST. Anyone with gigabit internet or less will not see any decrease in speed when comparing to hardwire to Wi-Fi speeds (when paired with a Wi-Fi 6 capable router). Obviously there are some other factors that come into play with Wi-Fi speeds like distance to the router and signal interference, but if you are close-ish to your router you will get the same speed as a physical connection.
My home has two separate Wi-Fi networks, one upstairs for the family’s devices and one downstairs for my workflow, which is also where my computer is. With my old TP Link 802.11n (I live in a rural area and internet speeds over 300 Mbps only just became available within the last couple years so I never upgraded) card, I was lucky to get 14 Mbps when connected to the upstairs network and only had one bar of signal. Now I can connect to the upstairs network from downstairs at the same speed as my downstairs network with full signal strength thanks to the massive antennas on this card.
My PC is currently hard-lined into my downstairs network, so I will not be using the Wi-Fi functionality as much as the Bluetooth, but it definitely feels good knowing that my PC’s Wi-Fi is up to date and can be used if needed, like if the computer gets relocated or I bring it somewhere for a good old fashioned LAN party.
Overall, I think this card works very well and likely will work without a hitch for most people. My case might just be an exception, since it is an older gaming case and might be slightly bigger than a standard PC case made today. The functionality this card has added to my PC is incredible and I honestly should have spent the $35 this card cost a long time ago.

Tiene un buen alcance y estabilidad en wifi, pero en Bluetooth pierde enlace una vez apagas dispositivo y toca apagar desde el panel windows para lograr reconectarlo.
