TULA Cult Classic Purifying Face Cleanser

It’s pretty good, even though I felt liked it was drying for my skin.
I liked the formula & the subtle smell.
I recommend even though I don’t use it because it’s too drying.
Not sure if it’s a good choice for dry and sensitive skin.

I’ve only been using it for a few days but my skin already feels softer and less dry.

I love the feel this cleanser provides. It is gentle and effective. Does not make my skin feel dry.

I have reactive sensitive skin. I’ve used a wide range if products and have been in a new exploring phase. No cleanser works on its own. Its about finding the right balance of toner, serums, creams for afterwards as well. This has worked well with my sensitive skin toner by andalou, midnight blue liquid by dear klairs, my anti-aging serum by province apothecary, and my cream by Gerrard’s Italy. It helps clear skin during any hormonal changes that lead to small breakouts and also refreshes well when using it as a go-to product for simple evening makeup remover/cleaning product.

Would recommend for it’s gentleness on sensitive skin, consistency (a mid amount goes a long way), and texture is nice – you feel like you’re cleansing despite no soapy feeling. Skin feels refreshed and clean without feeling any dryness.

However, the scent. I love earthy scents and am not picky usually. The scent doesn’t necessarily bother me but it is noticeably a sort of light Victorian dull/perfumy granny scent likened to a stale perfume from yonder years. Their brand is PETA approved so the ingredients are too chemically so not sure what’s going on there.

I received my first Jumbo size cleanser Saturday; I tried putting it back on and pushing it down like you would with anything else with a pump like this. The cap would push down and product would come out but it did not snap/lock back on. This is a turn to lock top so everytime it came back up from being pushed down you had to take the top back off and line cap and bottle back up to be able to push it down again. I put in for a return/replacement of this item same day I got it (Saturday 16th). New bottle came in Sunday the 17th (the next day) It came packaged exactly the same as the first bottle did (replacement bottle packing pictured). With the top off. BUT when I lined this one up and pushed it down it snapped/locked back on. The turn to lock works and the cleanser comes out like usual. The cap also stayed on unlike the 1st original bottle. 1st bottle cap problem can be seen in last picture; the fixed and working bottle is shown on right. In all packing isn’t so great for a pump bottle in my opinion; if your cap doesn’t snap/lock back on when you get it. Depending on where your located you can get a new one as early as the same/next day.
For a product review itself it’s absolutely amazing. I’m 21 and work outside all day 5 out of 7 days a week and do not use toner; or literally anything else. I’ve been using this Cleanser for about a year and a half now. Have normal skin (not too oily/not too dry) and this cleanser keeps my face from breaking out, getting dark spots, or drying out. I get the occasional pimple here and there but it’s not my whole forehead/cheek like before I used this product. I use it every other day and have had no problems with it since using it!! 100% recommend!!!!!!!!

I have been using this face wash for years. It does an amazing job cleansing, but is very gentle. It creates a nice light lather. It doesn’t dry out my skin like other cleansers do. This size is great because you don’t need to use a large amount, so it’ll last a long time, but will need replaced before I need to worry about it expiring. I originally bought the larger size, and it lasted me 2 years. It has a really nice, clean smell, not super perfumy, but it does linger on my skin.

Purifies your skin and removes makeup like a charm. I love the scent; fresh and clean but not overpowering at all. Safe for sensitive skin! This is my go-to, I probably will never switch!!
