Cruleman –
Itโs Far Cry, which means I love it. Itโs my favorite game franchise right now.
The saw blade gun is pretty impressively awesome, and I found the outpost liberations to be amazing. The story is solid, and the controls are just what youโd expect.
Itโs a bit on the short side, but if you can get it on sale itโs definitely worth the price.

I enjoy the Far Cry series. Its fun to play. Story is there, but the best part is you can go anywhere (sandbox). 20 bucks! It well worth it for me. Its a continuation from Far Cry 5. Full story, not a DLC.

Love this game. Graphics are great. This game takes place in Hope county after the bombs fell in Far cry 5. When I finished Far cry 5 I wondered how things would look and who might survive, as town had bunkers. Well this game answered that and more. Weapons were good. I hated to complete the game, didn’t want it to end. But I play it over and over and over. I have been a big fan of all the Far cry games. More please.

Far Cry: New Dawn is a fun game you can enjoy for many hours. It takes the setting of Far Cry 5, advances the time 17 years, and shows us what the world could be like in Montana and some other small locations such as Alcatraz after a nuclear holocaust. The isolated community in Montana of Far Cry 5 tried to rebuild after a long nuclear winter but was then ravaged by a ruthless gang known as Highwaymen who took over everything but a small enclave of resistance. Your role in this first person shooter is that of a security captain.
You start out in an open world with limited information and a knife for a weapon. You are able to produce various weapons at four tiers of weapon quality using resources you find in the game world. You have an assistant to help you accomplish your missions. You decide the level of difficulty of the game, what mission to do next, what enemy outpost you want to attack next and how to attack it, what facilities at the base to upgrade, and so on. There are many decisions to make. This gives you the opportunity to play the game repeatedly, trying different strategies and increasing the difficulty level to keep the game challenging.
The game returns several characters from Far Cry 5, aging each one 17 years. Of course Hurk Drubman, Jr. is back. He was in Far Cry 3, 4, and 5, as well as a main character in Far Cry 5: Lost on Mars. Joseph Seed, the villain in Far Cry 5, returns here as an ally of the groups fighting the Highwaymen. There are some quirky new characters such as Nana, the 70 something year old sniper who has “the body of a thirty year old with a face like a scrotum that was left out to dry in the sun” to quote her. A remark by her when she was on the ground seriously injured was “I’ve fallen and can’t get up.”
This game is the 4th extension of Far Cry 5 and the largest, reusing much of the map of Far Cry 5, with buildings in bad shape, half buried in the dust raised by the explosion of hundreds of hydrogen bombs and roads overgrown by vegetation. The northern part of the map is new, being the sanctuary of Joseph Seed.
The game is about half the size of Far Cry 5 with a fairly brief story line. It also costs about half the cost of Far Cry 5. I find it pretty amazing Ubisoft cranked out 4 extensions of Far Cry 5 over an 11 month period, each in my opinion well designed. I don’t even know how one could even write the specifications for these 4 games over an 11 month period much less produce fully functioning well designed games.
One thing I don’t care for is the sale of credits to buy weapons and other game stuff using real money. I wouldn’t dream of wasting my money on that nonsense, but my daughter was happy to spend over $100 of my money to buy about 9,000 silver bars in Far Cry 5. Aren’t kids adorable?
Jeff –
Pros:
It’ Far Cry family.
Open world.
Good side missions.
Rich colorful nature.
Less feeling of grinding to progress.
Improved car radio, good sound effects.
Almost no lags.
Cons:
Main story line almost “Saints Raw 3” level.
Some characters are too corny.
Would I recommend this game: It’s a definite YES!!!

I’ve played Far Cry 3, 4, 5, and New Dawn. 5 is my favorite for many reasons. New Dawn brings interesting new features and closure to things left open at the end of 5. In this sequel to 5 Hurk Drubman Jr, Pastor Jerome, and Sharky Boshaw are back again in their 17 year older incarnations. So are several other faces. Some you may be happy to see. Some you may be happy to shoot. There are many expeditions that will get you out of Hope County for more diverse play. There are new, very helpful and fun guns for hire. You had better be a good, quick shot or you won’t impress Nana. Timber is a good dog (get him and bump up his levels quickly). If you enjoy the Far Cry series then you should add this to your collection.

j’aime bien se produit.
RF game play –
Being a casual gamer, I thought this game was a lot of fun. It included a level 3 trike which allowed my human followers to level up quickly. I wasnโt a fan of Far Cry 5 because the game kept interrupting my play through with a forced side quest that couldnโt be turned down. So glad that feature didnโt make a comeback! I recommend this game just for the pure fun of it!
