I thought that this game would play on my XBOX 360 but to my surprise it did not. Being so happy to buy and play this game that I didn’t look for the 360. My mistake but what I see this game and what you can do. I would have scored this game very high.

If you hate Vegas but think R61 and Rogue Spear are too out-dated, 3 is for you.

You still get a great campaign, the always-awesome- Terrorist Hunt mode, and just the pure thrill of having enemies that are always-so intelligent and reactive it’s almost criminal.

That and whether you got the Xbox version or Raven Shield, the graphics are still pretty darn good.

This game is the best as far as the Rainbow Six story goes, with some of the same flaws as the other games, including the notorious online lag. Every Tom Clancy first person shooter made for online play has lag in it for some strange reason, but some of us are lucky enough to find a game without it. As for the single player? Fun, but extremely hard, even on the easy difficulty level. It took me about 10 times to beat the last few levels.

+ Online Play, just don’t use the 50 caliber “newbie cannon” sniper rifle, or you’ll get ragged on or booted
+ Always a game in every catagory opened online, so you’ll find something you like.
+ Graphics almost as good as Splinter Cell.. almost.
+ Sounds are great, although there should be an option to turn off the music while in the lobby to a game.
+ Lips move when you talk with the communicator!
+ Lots of Live maps, with more on the way!

    – That d*mn lag. Only on Live though, not in single player.
    – A few bugs in multiplayer, like the 2 minute map switch time that usually drops or freezes a player when it finally loads.
    – Almost unrealistic bullets/gun physics, if you’re not right on target the first shot, don’t expect the gun to correct it for you, even though with the way it jumps around, it should. Also, even if you rip someone’s stomach/back to shreds, they won’t die. D*mn BP vests. Headshots work though, when you can get them.

I bought this game expecting a Ghost Recon type game with better graphics and more options. I find; however, that it is not much like Ghost Recon at all. GR requires tremendous patience, and success is largely based on equipping your team properly, and mostly positioning them in strategic locations. With GR you can move almost anywhere you want, and attack targets from any angle. In Ghost Recon you can control any player, but in RB63 you are stuck with Domingo Chavez.
I find that RB63 is more of a shoot e’m up type. Enemies appear seemingly out of nowhere, and you have to shoot quickly. The choices of where to go in this game are much more limited, you pretty much just follow down the assembly line and shoot who pops up. In Ghost Recon one enemy bullet can often kill you, but RB63 is more of a health meter type game.
As for the graphics, I was sorely disappointed. Neither enemies nor your team look very real, and they all move with a skittish, too-fast shamble that looks really odd. Play Ghost Recon, look through your rifle scope, and study the detail on your fellow soldiers. You will see camo patterns, triggers, boot laces, CamelBak, etc. Try that on RB63 and you will see a black, shifting mass with a play-doh face.
I do like the huge weapon selection, and is something I wish Ghost Recon had more of.
My final summation. Maybe it is a fun game, but it’s not what I was hoping for.

    Rainbow Six 3 review

1.Graphics: 10. Great for an 03 title, overall very solid.

2.Story: 10. Easy to follow with the commentary of your commander.

3.Voice Acting: 9. Team, enemies, overall well done voice acting.

4.Sounds/Music: 10. The sound is GREAT on this game, and I found myself humming the
music more than I normally would from a game’s soundtrack.

5.Guns/gadgets: 10. Amazing selection of guns, many options for gadgets. One
Of the best weapon/gadget selections on the original xbox.

6.Difficulty: 6. Down point of the game, very difficult, could take several attempts
at certain areas before you master it and can beat it without taking too much damage.

    7.Loadout options: 10. You can choose 3 guns and a grenade, 1 gun and 3 grenades, 1
gun, 1 grenade, 2 breaching devices. The options are plentiful for an original xbox
    title.

8.Level design: 10. All of the levels are interesting, many ambushes can happen if
you’re not careful and always check above you, the enemy loves the rooftops and
    windows.

9.Squad commands: 10. Excellent! Easy to use commands, simple to master, but at the
same time, a complex system with tons of options for each and every battle.

10.Artwork/Booklet: 8. Cover art is great, Booklet isn’t that colorful or eye catching.
    But helpful.

    Overall: 93/100

“Excellent FPS for the original xbox system and controller especially”

“Beware casual gamers, this game can be difficult”

These guys are tripping. Trying to relive the magic of then yet comparing it ot games of today is unfair. I drove in a thunderstorm/flood to get this game. I plugged in my mic and starting issuing out orders and the rest is history. The game at that time, made me feel as if I was really apart of a team. That my tactical decisions count. The game had covert written all over it. I enjoyed the hell out of it. If not for it, I would have never played the future releases. It made me like that genre of games. not to mention how it complimented splinter Cell so well. Great game then. Ok game now.

100% New Xbox video game, factory sealed. It’s missing a bit of plastic wrap but the official Xbox seal is there, so it doesn’t matter much. Very happy with my purchase. Also very fast shipping and delivery (24 hours). I will order again from this seller! Thanks!
