I have a LOT of chargers around. And lots of devices to charge… Over the years, I have become a frequent consumer of Anker products, but one with very similar features (the 747, which is rated for 150 watts, not 160) just flat out died on me recently. So I decided to try an alternative and have had decent success with other UGREEN products.
Overall, this is proving to be a good solution. It’s powerful and seems to charge my devices as promised (although I can’t really test the speeds). But our old MacBook Pro 16 (Intel) charges just fine when it’s the only device plugged in, or one of two.
I will note, compared to that Anker 747 (which again, is rated for 10 watts less overall), the UGREEN is noticeably heavier and bigger in every dimension. Not massively so, but it’ll stick out of the wall probably 1/3 inch farther and it’s a bit thicker. Maybe that’s the effect of 10 extra watts? Maybe the failed Anker is lighter and smaller because it was not as well designed? I don’t know…
As the description says, you get 3 USB-C ports and one USB-A. I wish manufacturers would stop with the USB-A altogether, but they seem insistent in keeping one around. Oh well. The manual has a pretty good description of how power is split among the ports, and the device itself has little glyphs to help you figure out which ones are best suited for laptops. So that’s all good and useful.
One other downside relative to the Anker. The greater size makes the UGREEN a little less likely to fit into a tighter outlet situation. It was definitely bumping up against the item plugged in above. Furthermore, with the greater weight, it’s probably going to have a hard time staying in the outlet if that outlet is at all loose (like always seems to be the case in hotel rooms). The Anker, interestingly, comes with a little surround with suction cups to help keep it in place. The UGREEN probably needs that even more. But I always travel with a short pigtail extension cable to be able to plug into the tighter spaces.
Anyway, we’ll see how this one lasts, but it’s clearly a solid (perhaps too solid!) piece of kit. And if you don’t mind a little extra size or weight — or if you don’t plan to carry it around — it could be a very good solution if you have a laptop + tablet + phone + headphones. At $90 on sale like it is now, it’s a pretty decent price too.

I use this charging brick everyday and every day. It does its job charging 4 or more devices at once at full speed.
I love the build quality and design. Nice and compact. Does not attract heat functionality and efficiency is excellent. I would buy it again gift to a friend

Had some odd behaviours switching power on and off to plugged-in devises. Managed to get it to reset itself by powering off and restarting everything. Finally after a week of repeatedly not charging/powering the laptop properly, although being plugged in, it was running off its battery – its going back!

Nameplate rating is 160W, but a single USB-C connection will not charge a macbook pro. it does provide some current, but not enough to prevent the laptop battery from slowly discharging. if you hook up 2 usb-c connections from the charger to the laptop. the laptop will charge fine. behavior is consistent with different cables and laptops. the issue is with the charger. Avoid this product.
A single 140w apple charger and cable works perfectly. which is what I’m going to use going forward.

As the title suggests, this thing is well worth the price. I was able to fast charge an IPhone 13Pro Max, Apple Watch Ultra 2 and a Lenovo Legion Go all at the same time. My only real gripe with this brick is the weight. It struggles to stay in place in some outlets, but the easy fix for that was simply to buy a small six inch grounded extension cable for those harder to use airport outlets, for example.

I haven’t used it a ton yet, but I did test charging my Dell Latitude laptops and it worked great. Even with all ports used it can still charge 2 ports at 65W for the laptops, so perfect for business travel. The one USB-A port makes it perfect for older cables that still need it. All around a great travel charger that checks all the boxes. It is quite a bit heavier than my previous 4 port charger, but that makes sense given the power increase. Have always had great products from UGREEN.

I bought this as an all in one travel charger.
As soon as I connected it to my Dell XPS 15 to test the charging. I got a message on screen saying this charger is underpowered. You will have reduced performance from your laptop .
Returning it. Makes no sense to keep it if it doesn’t charge my laptop properly. Maybe fine for other lower powered electronics.

this is literally a life saver for me. i travel for work so this small and powerful charging block has literally replaced 2 blocks for my personal and work phone, as long as my work laptop charger. i can also charge all 3 at once with this block and have no issues with time.

Last time i buy Anker 737, and when it was used to charge laptop, or other device that draw a lot of power (25 watt+) there will be a static high-pitched noise called coil whine. Beside that the my laptop Asus Zephyrus G16 (2024) will become laggy when charge using Anker 737.
Because of that i need to purchase another charger, and i choose UGREEN NexodeX Charger 160 Watt. And it was GREATTT !!! There are no coil whine sound, and it can charge very fast. Compatible with my laptop Asus Zephyrus G16 (2024) and can charge BOTH side (Left port is Thunder bolt 4, and Right port was PD port/Display port). I tried many charger and they cant charge both side, usually just right side, but when plugged to left side (Thunder bolt 4) the notification window will say “Slow charging state”. But not on this charger.
I’m a college student, so i need to bring my laptop to campus a lot, and barrel charger was very heavy, so i needed a on the go charger like this one.
Very recommended. BEST BRAND AND PRODUCT.
For your info, because the battery on my laptop was already 90%+ i cant show you guys 98 watt+ charging. The watt will slowly lowered when the battery almost full.

機能的にはまったく問題ないですが、自重が重めなのでカフェの机側面のコンセントとかだと自重で落ちることが頻発します。
カフェワーカーには100wの方がおすすめかも。
